whts the benefits of airpots vs reg? do you still use airpots now or just reg potting pots with the starter cubes?
Anytime man, glad I can help.

Do you still have a decent live root mass? You scared me when you said you ripped away the 4in cubes, repair mode indeed. If you nurse them back to health they should take off with the added air to the roots.

As for the perlite, I've heard of people using it for hydro so I figured it would be a safe risk to take, but if you have some clean clay around just use that until its gone. Like I say Im just now experimenting with the perlite, so hopefully it doesn't f* things up for me. I do know that perlite is mostly a silicon mineral, with great drainage ability.

I've tried a bunch of different pots, the ones I liked the best for my setup are these:

http://www.ehydroponics.com/plant-warrior-1-gal-pot.html

They are cheap and they have this awesome air cone in the middle, which almost makes it impossible for root rot. I use 3 gal. ones. If growing a few big plants, I would prob go 5 gal.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted

Ya, once the clones are big enough for the 400w mh I put them in those 3 gal air pots, veg them for another 2-3 weeks then flip them.
They'll come back, just give them a little love and they give back in return.

And be careful with the hydrogen peroxide, don't over do it with that shit, especially when they're stressed
