Newbie Question about Tent Sizes!

First post!

I've always been told to ask ask ask when in doubt.

I have an AC Infinity tent 36"x20"x62" with an XS 2000

Also have an XS 1500 for a smaller 2x2 that's not in use.

My question is what is the tent considered? I've seen 3x3 4x2 et cetera but I'm lost how to determine if the XS2000 can or cannot be used @ 18 inches in Flower in the current 36x20x62

Currently have 5 in the larger one for 3 in flower and 2 in veg.

Advice and Opinions greatly appreciated!

Does it fit? If so, yes.

I use a kingbrite 240w in the same tent (AC 36x20x62). A light is too large if it's bigger than the dimensions of the tent cause that's a fire hazard. Otherwise, you're good man.

That AC Infinity is nice right?

It's super nice, I'm in love with the build quality. The XS 2000 does fit in but some of my concerns were the length from the LED light to the Flowers below - I'm at 18 inches and dimmed it to 75 percent for now. This helps me not go over the 80 degree threshold though on good @ 100 percent would float @ 80 exact. At first I thought the light might be too big for what's underneath it, but, I should be fine. The XS2000 is, what, 240 w as well. How far do you keep your lights away from your babies? Greatly appreciate the reply! Much Love, Michi~

That would be 3x1.75 =5,25 sq ft x 35-50 for wattage around 160 to 260 actual watts. Oh and ya if the light doesnt physically fit in tent dont use it its a fire hazzard lmao

Well in my current grow I'm only 15 days from germination but solidly in veg right now. I go by lux so I'm currently giving them around 40k lux. I have it probably 14" away at 40%. From how I understand it, total lux is what you want to go by, not just distance or whatever.

When I go into flower, I'll increase it to about 60-70k lux. LST is important to get an even canopy.

I've been trying, i went from DWC to soil - so I could only afford a few essentials. One of the things I wanted was a light meters to determine how much light i'd be getting as I bring the light lower and lower.

For now I'm just going by how she's reacting/responding.

My first DWC - Dead
First Soil - Airey

My second attempt at Soil, things are looking better but with the lack of knowledge - I've just been going at it as they grow. Using Autos right now.

Yeahh I was totally afraid from that happening. The XS2000 fits there perfectly but didn't know if I wanted the xs2000 in there or the xs1500 for the 3 that are growing. The two smaller babies was thinking of putting them into a 2x2 and let them veg under the xs1500.

I was kinda being sarcastic. Obviously if it does fit dimension wise you cant use it. That sq ft should have 260 watts . Use the one closest. Lux meters only measure white light so if your light has red and blue your lux meter is wrong

Meaning you need to adjust downward or upward?

Return the light meter and order some photoperiod plants. You'll probably even have money left over to buy an ppm/EC meter.

It's too late for that, Twenty... wayyy too late. All I got is a collection of Autos. I didn't get a light meter, sorry if i might've insinuated that. I was trying to say I wanted one. I have those PH pens from Amazon - 2 of em, but both aren't reading correctly. IT came with an EC but again, never used it, probably dead already.
