Hey

1st time grower here. This has been growing indoors under 24 hrs light. I live in a pretty cold place! I've had a look at the trichs and they are clear with a twinge of golden that I often worry ive imagined. What are your thoughts? It's on late flowering nutes. It's already been growing weeks longer than the estimated growth but I'm guess my situation is only going to slow it down.

Any advice on when to chop?

I would say a couple more weeks. You still are getting new pistils, so if you're getting some amber, maybe decide what percent you want. I go with ten to twenty percent amber. You might want more. She looks good. As long as she is healthy, rock on. What is the strain?

Thanks for your note. I've uploaded an up to date photo. It's auto critical x auto cheese. I got them after researching which are good in the not so warm areas! It's 5 months since it initially germinated. I appreciate this is well.over estimate but I don't know if it's due to ambient temperature or light levels. Leaves are yellowing now heavily so I guess it's close

The harvest schedule that you get is usually off by a bit. Since you're running cool temps and not really optimal lighting, you can adjust your hopes that it will take much longer. She looks healthy. The white hairs are an indication that she is really still growing. You will notice your buds plumping up when the hairs turn red or brown.
I really like UK cheese, but it gives me the munchies, somthing fierce.
I like critical OG too. A good sleepy one.

What lights u recommend?
A decent led or even a hps light adjustable with digital ballast you can pick em up for less than a hundred on Amazon as for LEDs Cory is your man he will be able to recommend you a led better than me the hps is handy for our cold climate in the UK for winter runs especially plus with the adjustables you don't need to run it at 600 you can turn it down to 250 or 400 to suit space and life stage of the plants

Aye all the skunks give you the munchies ime for sure so do the chems or any real kush or afghan or Pakistani that lean to the indica side cos ime the sat leaners can have thcv and that makes you not hungry they were looking at that for dieting and also for diabetics apparently might be useful for them too (thcv)

Depends on the area you are lighting up.
But generally minimum of 30w per square foot with white LEDs, or 50w per square foot with HPS.
Also depends where in the world you are really as to what's available.

Your current lighting explains the structure of your plant, been it's very elongated, and the lack of density as well as how long it's taking.
But regardless I'm still surprised at what you've managed with what you have
