my first grow. my set up is 3 CFL 42w. i received the plant with 2 nodes. the soil that is being used right now is just organic pot mix with nothing else. at first i was just feeding it water with a ph of 6.7-6.9. now i have gone out and purchase some plant food. i am feeding it fish fert (5-1-1) and foxfarm grow big (6-4-4) with water. It seems like its growing ALOT faster than before with just water.
it seems after feeding it with the mix, it stopped the yellowing and curling. What is the cause of yellow curling leaves? I have read that it could because of bad Ph but im sure thats not the case. I was thinking that it was because the soil is just an organic pot mix without a lot of nutes in it. I have purchase a bag of bat gauno (10-1-1), worm casting and perlite. the bat gauno im not sure on how it use, i was planning on letting it dissolve in water and every couple of days just pour it on top of the soil (if that is a correct way or if there is another way, please inform me).
For the soil, im going to do 40% organic pot mix 40% worm casting 20% perlite. direction on the organic soil bag says you should soak it with water and let it sit for 3 days. True? i have read that the soil should be soft and fluffy so the roots can grow smoothly.
My setup is 3 CFL 42w. My plans when it come to flowering will be using 4 42w CFL with 4 100w equivalent. Im sure hps and mh power will be better but as a learning process with watering and lighting, this seems more comfortable.
Please i would love any feedback and answers. A Yes to any advice. Its some what crazy how i have developed a passion for this. After scrolling through different strains, its ridiculous how beautiful they are.
