Newbie PC grower from UK

hi everyone!

Starting my own stealth PC grow soon and i bought the box...

There are 2 fans running on 12v via a converter and a regular E27 light fitting running via 240v ac. (All from one lead & UK mains plug).
It is fitted with 60w Hi-power Led Grow bulb.
It uses a mix of 660nm blue & 460nm red, powerful Epistar led's which are perfect for vegging & flowering if im correct?
Also using a 20mm carbon sponge

Dimensions:
The inside grow space measurement is approximately 410mm length by 175mm width & 430mm high
The outside measurements are approximately 470mm length by 180mmwidth by 500mm high.

I will be growing using Autoflowering seeds.

Just wondering if this is a good setup? It is custom built by a seller i am buying from.

Will be using Canna Terra Soil.

Anyone recommend a good autoflowering seed website?

Any advice would be appreciated ideally want Half O - Ounce maybe even more if possible.

my advice ud probably be better getting the bits urself and building a stealth cabinet grow sure theres a thread in the design and setup section about it there maybe something about pc case grows in there id try that section

Thanks for our response. I have already bought the PC stealth box

well if u got it use it u may be better id think using a photo strain not an auto so u can use training on the plant to keep it inside the small space you have dont quote me on it but im sure you aint supposed to top an auto i could be wrong tho as i only grow photo strains

With the autoflower i think it is easier though right? Just want to take it in strides a nd have a decent yield at the end for personal use until next batch is done. Sick and tired of buying from people on the street

nothing different about growing other than the fact an auto sets its own flowering time which i dont think would be benificial to your growing space grab a fem seed least you can train it and you decide when u want to flip it to flower by reducing the light hours id say at least you have time to do a little lst even just to control height means you can have a bigger plant which isnt as big as the space as you have trained it down theres a lot of very simple tecniques you can use as even a beginner do a little research on lst training i would think depending on your daily habits ull struggle to yield enough in a pc case to last you approx 2 to 3 months hell i use a 2meter tent grow 3 5 foot plants under 400watts and dont have enough to get by i love my smoke too much lol

Set up seems fine but dont forget a large passive air intake. Auto would work well but pick it carefully. You want large YIELD.

Dont be disheartened if your first grow or two dont work out. Dialing in a system can take a little time.

Most people I talk to wait for Attitude seeds monthly promo to buy seeds and they also give UK buyers 15% reduction when you mail cash as I always do.

Hi Jasmine, welcome to the forums!

I've always loved a pc stealth box - can we have some photos to see just how stealth it will be?

If you do grow autoflowers, be sure to research your strain well, as many could easily outgrow that space.

With a photoperiod feminised seed, the only real difference would be YOU deciding when to start flowering, so it would allow you time to top and train the plant to best use your space. It would also save you money on electricity, with the reduction of light used during dark periods.

Don't be daunted by it not being autoflower - I've seen many people on here that cant grow autos properly, while managing fine with photoperiod.

Use a wide, shallow pot to best fill the floor space of your grow cabinet, and then (I would) utilise low stress training and partial defoliation to train the stem into a horizontal oblong before flowering.

I saw someone selling ready made pic boxes on the bay, they looked pretty good. Can't see a problem growing autos in a pic box, they can still be lst'd, plus you could get lowryder or a cross of it if u want something that's going to stay small
