Hi guys I am starting my first grow as soon as my seeds arrive from Attitude basically starting small with Super Cali Haze Auto link included. MY question is there any full nutes threads online for auto strains. Have been reading that you should use half of what is recommend. I am looking for a nutes guide for dummies dont want to burn my first plant. Thanks in advance...#Makemybluntthechronic

People arent trolling on here looking to answer questions all day.... You posted a question an hour and a half ago..... give it some time before you get mad and say the wrong thing, cuz then you will get zero help on here... I know from experience...

As for the answer to your question........... Buy an EC/ppm Truncheon Meter...... they are like $125, but worth their weight in gold... Also, get a good PH meter, you will need it. Pick out a nutrient line that you want to use (Advanced, Fox Farm, Soul Synthetics, General Hydroponics etc...)... Mix up your batch according to what the feed schedule says.... This will be VERY overly strong.... It will probably meter out really high in EC or PPM's..... You then just add water to it to thin it out, until you bring the EC/PPM down to what you want it at... It really depends on what your growing in, but safe EC is between 1.4-1.6 for Veg, and 1.6-1.8 for flower. AFTER you have your EC all set, you then PH the mix and add up or down to get to where u need to be.... Usually somewhere between 5.6-6.2 depending on what your growing in. Hope this helps, but Im no pro....

I use nothing for the first 10 days, then a mix of veg and flowering at about 1/4 str for 2 weeks, then go straight into flowering nutes on my autos and they have done well. You get a lot of bud growth that way. Sometimes I'll keep a little spray heavy on the N if they start to look like they need it but I tend to use a slightly stronger N nute than I would a flowering say white widow.

The easiest nutes out there for DWC is supernatural's. Use the Gro and Bloom Aqua. They kill it in the DWC. They run so clean, you don't need to adjust pH. its just too ssimple. here's the link to their feeding schedule
http://supernaturalbrand.com/feeding-program/

And their ppm's on the chart are actually really accurate. I wouldn't go over 400ppm's during veg and don't go over 700 during flower. And you should be doing just fine.

everyone here is gunna confuse the heck out of you alot more than going to your local grow/ hydroponic store and asking one of the guys at the counter. they already know what your growing and really dont give a damn. and when you buy your nutes ask for the chart that comes with it, will tell your your general week by week what to do

happy days my friend happy days

Project thanks for the advice that link looks really good. I think I will go with supernatural. MJ there is so much info it does get confusing at times Im nervous like I am kid in school again lol. I went to my local hydro shop here in Virginia Beach and the guy kinda looked at me like "What are you trying to grow" so i think ill stick to shopping online lol tks for all the great info

No food until the first pair of false leaves start to go paler
1/4 strength for 1 week
1/2 strength for 1 week
Since you are in DWC and the roots will be permanently submerged in the solution, you dont need full strength. Go for around 70% of makers recommended dosage.

When mixing, mix nutes, always adding nutes to water, never the other way.
Allow to sit for 24 hours before use (this allows chlorine to evaporate if using tap water as well as allowing time for ph buffers to work)
Ph solution to your preferred ph (5.5 and allow to drift) before use

With nutes, the best advice I could give any new grower is LESS IS MORE. Watch the tips for browning, this is nutrient burn.

Woody thanks for the tip. LESS is more sounds so smart I can imagine wanting huge yields and think more nutes equals bigger buds. Glad ya said that. Thanks again

Word. I hate it when people start complainign about how no one answers them. Really, doesn't make me want to take the time to help them out.

And really, all you need to do is to search the forums for what you need to know. There's PLENTY of info on these forums to use.

Oh, and even Google is a good resource. That's where I go most of the time.

Good info here - thanks for standing up to the lazyness on these boards. Sad stuff to watch.
