  • basically. i started with two 2' tubes 24/7. for about 2 weeks @ 80 deg./ 80% hum. and it varied inbetween 70-85 deg./ 20%-80% hum. at times fed just tap water in soil solo cups every few days
then for about a week they were under 300 watt hps 24/7 @ 70-80 deg/ 30%-50% hum. fed tap water in soil solo cups every few days. believe i even overwatered.
now they are under 600 watt hps 24/7 35-50% hum. and 72-79 deg. makeshift co2 sugar/yeast/water. it dripped on plants some so just goes to the fans.View attachment 2985089View attachment 2985090View attachment 2985089View attachment 2985090

'm doing 24.0 bc i'm lacking adequate controll of heating room without the light on. and i heard you can veg in a 24/0. i'm vegging. 600watt hps with vented hood. and some kind of brown sponge...and soil that i have found out is hot. tomorrow i'm transplanting and i found what i believe to be as mites so i'm going to treat for a few weeks. and stop giving nutes. just tap water. i know nothing about autoflowering but i'm interested. i wanna switch to dwc but i'm obviously not ready. lol damn! i can get a quick video of the setup. its pretty small.

You defo need MH and not HPS - HPS is red spectrum which is for flowering and you need blue spectrum from MH Rep

Light spectrum isn't that important on a small grow like this. I've blasted plants with HPS and MH opposite of recommended and still produced 2 zips + per plant.

Not the right way, but it doesn't affect them that much.

OP's problem is all nute and soil issues. They are burned up and it will take a lot of TLC to get them to recover.

I'd transplant into new soil and watch your feed schedule - ease up. It will take a couple weeks to get them back on track.

Bro its not the lighting or the 24 hour veg its the terrible fucking shocking soil your using and also you not feeding them. Start feeding these N starved plants some veg nutes ASAP. Get soil right before even thinking about DWC.

How long have they been going for fellow Welshman. If they get to much shock and stress in the beginning you will never get that time back with autos. Ditch these bad boys and start again, get yourself some coco coir and try a grow in that. Always ph your water buddy it's super important 6.5 in soil and 5.8 in coco. I use the canna range in coco And it's great. Cut your loses mate and restart, they are not worth the hassle. Check out my automazars on my page boss.

They are looking a bit rough but you may be able to salvage them but the yield will likely be low.
You really need to get control of the mites, number one priority
Dr. Jekyll

You have so many issues that it's hard to know where to start, over nutes, over watering, high humidity, they need to be transplanted, the duct tape sucks, and 24/0 is stressing them.
I would say that the HPS is not a big deal, too many people thinking that you must use MH for veg and HPS for flowering, this is ideal but either or can grow from start to finish

this is what the roots look like. Looks to me that pic1 is not "eatting" well since the medium is alot more moist than pics2. and im thinking pic2 appears to be full of roots like a rootbound thing. pic3 is what i'm using. pic4 is the medium no branding tho. not sure what they are called. and lastly pic4 is the nutes i have. although more than half is gone. i will list all what i have left shortly. i am now emplimenting a night cycle 6hrs. but it seems to be running cool like 67 deg 45 hum. and i sprayed my mite spray. drenched em best i could. before lights turn back on i will rinse plant with luke warm water and dry off in time for light. tonight or tomorrow i will transplant into bigger pots with non specialty soil mixed with perlite. (ihave perlite and vermiculite) i dont know what my mix will be tho i am still looking for good advice there.
im not giving up if i fail completely there are still things to learn for me. not that im trying to fail but i know the value of experience (which none is what i have well i had a huge sucess once but everything ran smoothly) this is real and i wanna learn growing. thanks for all the encouragement and advice you guys. i'm transplanting into bigger pots with non specialty soil tonight or tomorrow and getting ph adjuster stuff.

word of advise 67 seriously isnt that cold on plants especially for night time

hell ive grown well in night time temps down in the low 50's as long as you let it adjust or start it colder it does just fine <----- first hand exp its only when they freeze do you have an issue
low fifties not ideal but they still grow

I would get them out of those solo cups into at least a 3 gal container. I agree with the N deficiency. If you transplant into good soil you won't have to give nutes for a bit as the soil will have plenty.

First...hope you have thick skin...cuz damn son :cuss:ok where to start, lets get some good soil, and some perlite, and some bigger pots, stop all that Co2 crap, water, yeast, sugar!!!really...transplant those girls into bigger pot with a 60%soil and 40% perlite mix, use just water when transplanting...if ya wana try that Co2, use baking soda in a bowl and rig a 2 liter with a pin hole in the cap and turn it upside down so it drips into the baking soda bowl, instant Co2...peace...oh yeah for the Co2 to work you have to have a fairly good seal on your room, otherwise it's a waste of time...you would be better off blowing on them
