Newbie looking for help with his first grow

Hello, members of rollitup.
Intro: I live in a very oppressed country and English is not my native language so I apologies in advance for the mistake that I will make for this post. Anyway, as the title says I am a newbie grower with 2 failed attempt growing with CFL, so this time I'll try some different light.

I am currently leaning to a cob/ QB grow. I have seen multiple recommendation to growmouse and ledgarderner but unfortunately because of my country's poor conversion rate to USD the recommended light are a little out of my budget not to mention the shipping cost is almost half the price of the lights.

My current plan: I am going to build a small grow cabinet using something like the Tupper cabinet(I am not sure if I am allowed to post link here), with a small bubbler hydroponic setup. Anyway, the point of this thread is to ask for which light should I go for, currently considering either one of the aliexpress 100w cob which I think is similar to the optic XL, or for one of those 125w qb from alibaba. I am open to other recommendation as long as the budget is around that range and the shipping does not cost too much.

Sorry for this lengthy post, thank you for reading and I hope your day is going well.

Additional info: I manage to get my hand on some Northern light seeds which cost a lot of money and I don't want to ruin it with my shitty growing attempt. Also a normal american weed cost around 45USD per gram, and is very hard to come by. The only weed available here are those brick weed that people dubbed schwag.

2018-11-23 23.33.51.jpg Okay, I'm assuming that at least a 3x3 area would be provided to grow a decent plant. And I also might be a little over biased. Tonight I smoked my first joint, off my first hydro, under my first cmh grow. And I swear by God, it's some of the best I've ever had, I've been smoking over 40 year's.

Under 200 dollars, you could get a 315w cmh light, they are a great cheap light.
Is it suitable for small space, cause one of the issues with CFL was the heat. Yes the heat from CFL was too much for me to handle. The ambiance temperature around here is around 30 to 33 degree Celsius.

Yeah, they do get a little warm. Led might be the way to go in your situation, just make sure that you get a good one, hlg quantum boards, or something similar, don't fall into the blurple trap. Better to save until you can get ahold of one, than settle for in superior light now. One of the most important parts of the grow.

Also thank you so much for replying to my thread, I don't have a lot of friends here to talk about growing, even when I talk about growing no one seem to know what the hell I am talking about so I just want to express my appreciation to all the people that replied to me. Thank you.

I made that mistake already so I am now at the saving up point. I can get a light around next month, which is soon. My eye is on this CF grow light. Seem promising with 2 citizen cob, mix 3500k with 5000k plug and play type, but more advice is always better before spending my 2 month allowance.

OK, I understand the heat level now. Thanks for advising me before I got my house burnt down sir.
I would definitely recomend that you consider trying to find an old wardrobe or cabinet that you could convert into a grow space if possible. I would get really nervous putting any kind of grow light inside a plastic box.

I have considered wooden cabinet but the problem is I don't have access to power tools, so I have no way of making the holes needed to mount things as well as the hole needed for the carbon filter.

That is a challenging situation. I will consider some possible options for you and will let you know if I think of any creative solutions.
