Newbie long grow.

Hey I started growing in September for the first time. I had a bit over 100 bag seeds half did right. So I ened up with about 57 seed pads(single seed each pad). 28 sprouted they all stretched. I replanted them down to the leaves, and lowered the lights. 18 survived. when it was time to transplant them to a bigger pot it went down to 12. I was very careful. Then I had a electrical problem and had to move to a bigger room set everything back up.When all the plants just stopped growing even after 1 month I thought I needed nutes, so I added as directed. I failed. I ended up with potash poison. I had to flush and hope for the best. I caught it after two days it was dry nutes man. Now I have 5. They started growing great. Now 2 week ago they reached the height I wanted and so I put on a 12/12 loop. To start flowering. Only 2 have started, and the rest are still alive.

Down to 3 plants... this is the shortest one.

Well there was alot of crap written that didn't work. So I tried a bunch of stuff. Plus it was all bag seeds. No money lost. I'm about to start on the second grow almost got enough seeds to start again. I'm going to order seeds after my percentage goes up alot. This site helped alot I've got alot of useful information.

I know it was awful honestly I was embarrassed when I found this site. So I waited to post big mistake. Lol. I really could have used the help. I got a 18 by 35ft room that used to be a theater room. That I wanted to make into a grow room. I not going to put in that kinda of money until I know what I'm doing.

Here you go

For what its worth coming from a newbie grower. If it was me to do over before I decide to pop more seeds I'd say spending hours here and other places reading about what other growers have achieved, experienced and discovered would be time better spent. Learn the basics, environmental, mediums, nutrient variations, plant varieties, pruning, cloning and finally lighting and other equipment for the space you are thinking of building. Growing takes dedicating time to the plants. Seeds are a gift and shouldn't be wasted, even bag seeds may contain something special that hasn't been seen or experienced in years. If you don't have the time to dedicate to it then you might as well plant a veggie garden and learn what you can there and have something to eat in the process. Good luck!

Get pots. Different sizes available and cheap(dollar store has containers for a 1$)

Get bag of potting soil mix. Brand is based on what you buy. Don't care.

Leave the fertilizers alone!

Plant 2- maybe 3 seeds

Water when needed only

Get yourself a simple easy harvest. Then start building from there.
