Newbie guy first time growing - few questions

Hy guys. I am sorry for not introducing myself :/ I have few questions, probably already seen here. ( And I am sorry if my English is bad,I am from country where we learn English in school ) .

First of all,I have my seedlings ( 12 of them ),preparing for outdoor grow. I live in country with Mediterranean climate, and last snow (and the snow is very rare here) passed about 3 months ago. Plants here can start after March, 18th.

I am pretty much late with them, becouse it's around 25 - 30°C day temperature already, and my seedlings just grown 3 pair of real leaves, some of them (4 maybe) just shown the third pair.

6 seedlings are transplanted in bigger "pots" , becouse seeds were started in 1.5 dcl cups, and that's relatively small. And yes, seeds are from some bag weed,it's very rare here to buy some "branded" weed, and if there is one,it's way to expensive.

Introduction with plants is more or less over, now questions:
1. I've read that after the third pair of real leaves is developed,we can add very small amounts of nutrients, and adding nitrogen for 2-3 weeks in amounts that will not burn the plant can help developing females instead males (very important becouse I don't know sex)

2.
How big they need to be before I plant them in the ground?

3.
We have no deers, racoons, etc. here so only problem that could be for plants are spidermites, snails, maybe rabbits, but how can I avoid snakes, becouse they are pretty nasty and deadly here, and I planed planting on a hill where snakes can be found becouse of small - medium grass, rocky terrain?

4.
I will post pictures of seedlings and soil tomorrow,so you can tell me more info about that, and how maybe improve soil. Low - Med. concetration of small stones (bigger stones are like like fist, maybe a bit bigger, small ones are like zippo lighter size xD ) , and the colour of soil is brown,a bit redish maybe, but not to much. Main colour is brown.

P.S .. I thought that some of my plants streched a bit so when I was transplanting,i filled cup almost to cotyledon leaves. And I think that was very good idea becouse my plants are outside, partialy exposed to wind.
Hope my post is not too long, and thank you all for helping me.

1. what kind of nutrients are you giving them, and i would say 2-3 weeks sounds okay..just start off slowly and work your way up.

2. you can put them in the ground when the temperatures are above 55 degrees at night, i don't think size matters..

3. snakes dont touch MJ plants, plant away my friend, but i would still use a chicken wire fence just because its wise

4. are you using the native forsest soil? why not add a bag of some good soil?

I am not giving them any nutrients yet. I was afraid that it is too early. I planed on giving them nutrient called UREA,highly concentrated nitrogen fertilizer. I also have NPK 15-15-15,is it good for start? I think they are maybe small for 3 weeks I guess, but that's becouse they were out since they've sprouted from seed. Only time they were in house is when it was pretty cold out.. Now the lower temperature for the next three day in night is 57 degrees, and the highest is 60.. for the next 7 days is around 54 to 64 in night.. Here, where I live,I cannot buy a good bag(s) of soil without beeing noticed, asked stupid questions etc.. it is relatively small town where everyone knows everything.. I am not afraid of snakes doing damage to plants,I am "afraid" of snakes doing damage to me xD
