NEWBIE growing mushroom advice

can i grow different strains at the same time in the same box that i am using since I'm going to go with the midwest kit that comes with 12 jars.

This is what i have coming to me so far.

I'm new to this as well, just ordered the 100 buck kit from Midwest. Also got some b+ from Hawkeye. If my understanding is correct, the myceliums cannot coexist in the same environment properly.

Yeap you should be ok. I've used the same terrarium for 6 strains using casings in aluminum pans to keep them separate. The setup I used at the time was very similar. I'm not sure about doing 2 strains in one cake or casing tho, that just seems counterproductive at best.

I was going to put a different strain in there own jars figure I could grow 4 strains 2 jars per strain, what I'm curious about also do you have to do different sun, water, light, enviroment for each different strain?

Short answer, no. Their needs are similar. I will say that you'll be sacrificing some efficiency for variety. You would maximize potential, efficiency, and experience by doing one strain at time.
