Newbie Grower! 5Gal DWC Freakenstein bagseed/soon to do AK48

Whats up eveyone!!
I have been following this site and a few threads on it for a while just learning a hell of a lot haha. Decided its time to start my own thread and get some help when I need it, and have some cheerleaders if possible Ill list what my setup consists of RIGHT NOW but mind u it will def be changing as I continue growing and finetuning it. Ok here goes...

-40"x40"x72" tent from HTG
-2 5 gallonDWC buckets with grow rocks and two Freakenstein bagseed started 12/6.
-I currently have one 4output air pump with two bigass air stones in each res
-Dynagro nutes for now (will switch to more popular brand soon, any suggestions are appreciated)
-PPM @ 490 PH around 6 or below
-Lights are 1 ghetto 150w HPS street light rigged up lol and a 65w CFL I picked up at Lowes
-no extraction fans just a mini fan and a large fan moving the air around in the tent (plans to add a simple 120cfm fan/carbon filtercombo)

O yea, almost forgot.. Temps are always between 72 and 80 depending on whether I have the tent unzipped and whatnot. Humidity around 30% Im guessing? Its too low for my reader to identify, im working on getting it up to 45% with a bowl of water and some wet rags.

I got these ladies under an 18/6 light cycle right now..

Not sure what I should do from here? Should i switch em over to flower in about 2 weeks?? or should I grow em out and make them mothers?

I think im gonna grow em out for like 2 more weeks and flip the switch to 12/12. I also will prob be getting a 400w HPS for the flowering and keep the other two lights for when I get my mother/clone tent.

Well anyways, I guess when i germ the AK48 ill throw two of them into the other two 5gal dwc systems ive got and then use one of them as mothers?

I had absolutely nooo time over the weekend to update, my bad. lol
Anyways, I saw a little bit of yellowing on the first leaves of the gal on the right.. So i checked the res as usual and she drank up soooo much of the water haha. I guess she wasnt getting fed, OOPS so...
I topped her off immediately and actually upped the nute PPM to 680.
I then checked PH and it was sittin pretty right around or just under 6.0/
After that I checked the plant on the left and it was also wayyy low.. But she is growing this HUGE bright white root that looks amazing!!
I topped her off and PH was on point, also upped PPM to about 680-700.
Today marks exactly 2 weeks since they popped above the rooter plug, so I think they look pretty good.. Let me know what ya think.


Last night I also put two AK48 beans in a bag and some paper towels to germ, both already broke open, and should have sprouts by tonight. If so, Ill plant em' and throw them under the lights.

Alright, another update!

Not much has changed, other than the babies filling out and turning into some nice looking little plants lol

Great big root systems on both of them now, and I have one of the AK48 sprouted in a jiffyplug, ill probly transfer it to a bucket in a few days when it has some more leaves.

O yea, I think I am gonna flower these two and try and make the AK a mother plant.. Does anyone have thoughts on this??

Other than that, not much has changed.
