Yes you can and without inducing flowering but it takes a few weeks from when the plant first sprouts. Im not sure what rastadoor was talking about 4 days thing. But anyways the female pistils will sprout where the stem meets the main stalk and will happen on the top first so check your new growth for the signs.

As an outdoor grower I advise that you start your plants on no more than 12-14 hours indoors. Otherwise when you put them out they will first try to go into flower, then they will return to veg. In the process you will lose about two weeks of grow time while they are confused by the different light cycle. Also, will need to harden them to sunlight or risk sunburning them. They will likely survive sunburn, but this also can slow down their growth. To harden them, you need to introduce them to direct sunlight for one hour the first day out, and then double the time until they are out all day. After 2-3 days out, leave them out for a couple nights as well to be sure they can handle the night time temperature drop, and then plant those suckers. You will invariably lose some growth, but depending on where you live and how long your summer is, not a serious consideration as nothing beats the ol' million+watt bulb in the sky. There are natural considerations to growing outdoors ( insects, animals, hail, etc. ) but if you are successful, you will realize a harvest far superior to any indoor grow, at least in terms of yield. Now some people will tell you about how high temperatures outdoors can harm THC production, but the reality is that the high temps will occur during veg stage, and actually equate to massive veg growth. I am here in Colorado, and my plants have been out for a little more than a month now. They have experienced some very cold nights, as low as 36 degrees, and this set them back a little. However, considering they have 4-5 months of season still to go, and are now growing at a rate of 2-3 inches a day,...well, you do the math. Also, nothing beats those enormous donkey dick colas ( I've grown one that was almost 3 feet long ) which outdoor grows can see. The only thing that can screw this up for you is if you have a strain that auto-flowers as it will not wait for the season to change before it starts budding. Good luck, and send me a PM if you need any other advice.

Thanks, denofearth69, and i just made about 16 clones off the biggest grape ape, man the stalk is so bushy after al the cloning you still couldnt see the stalk, i will have to post pics of its bushiness.. :) also i did some LST, or tying down of some of the bigger branches of the grape ape. I also cloned a couple northern lights and blueberry from my friends house. I did quite a bit of cloning the first day i got all the materials. Im using rootech cloning gel and the dirt pellets that are in a jiffy container. It surprises me because there are so many plant stores with everything to grow weed around here, another one pops up every couple months. I will post pics soon, promise

leave me some advise / comments

I second what denofearth69 says about premature flowering outdoors. It happens to people every year they try to cheat the season a bit and put out 3 ft tall plants they been growing for months indoors only to have them flower and then revert and lose at least 3 weeks of prime summer sun. I tried combating it this year by putting lights on them outdoors when i moved them out that come on right before sun down and before sun up to add a few hours but it doesnt seem to be working dammit. It sucks and your almost better off putting out little babies at the first of June that have had no time indoors except cloning and hardening off and have no flower stunt they will catch up in no time.

Whats a cheap effective way to get rid of mites and bugs, some of my plants have them and some just got over them at my frends where some of my plants are under the 1000 watt metaL HALIDE

Ohhh sorry to say it but your F-ed. Mites are the devil... You can control them but they will never go completely away without using harsh chemicals (Avid). But as long as you keep up on them with sprays like neem oil or safer soap or organicide (which are all inexpensive and natural) you will be ok but once you let up n them they will be back and with a vengeance.

floramite wipes em out... its pretty hash but works great... just make a weak batch of it and wear gloves/leave the exaust fan on and turn all others off.... sucks to do it but it stops the problem right away

Alright finally got my iphone working so i took pics of the new growing clones that were super tiney in my closet and i took some of my buddies out at his house where we have tons of plants split 3 ways. The setup out there is 1 1000watt metal halide. That is where all my mature clones and seeds go for vegging and flowering. We are going to bud some of them in the shed and put the rest outside.

froggy ? is that ok lol

whole room-

here is the grape ape that was the biggest in my closet on the previous pictures

heres the light

hash plant

white russian

some more clones under cfl and flourescents

diesel is this normal haha

cheap shit except the bug spray 25 bucks a bottle

tied down clones

advice.?? We are gonna dig fat holes and fill em with happy frog from fox farm, renting an excavator haha and keep some indoors the shack

also the big grape and some of the others have multiple tied down limbs for more main colas, right now i can count like 14 on the big mother grape

so we are putting 3 or 4 cards worth of plants outside(each card gets 6 plants over a foot), the holes are a bitch to dig since we are doing 4x4xabout 4 or 3.5 feet. We made about 35 more clones to put under 12-12 in the shed once we have all the others in the ground. hopefully we have some bud before harvest and during to smoke haha
