Newbie F-Up - Added Foliar straight into reservoir

Sooo, I made a big mistake by not being fully knowledgeable of the nutes (House & Garden) the guy at the shop sold me. I got the whole setup of nutes and additives. (I actually got them from a Humboldt Wholesale rep during a demo day.) Anyway, they give you a chart to follow and on the list was House & Garden Magic Green Foliar, i didn't realize that it was a "spray" on process and proceeded to add it directly to the reservoir with the other nutes. The plants were growing great and still seem the ok but the roots are very very brown, amusingly from the molasses-like Magic Green staining them. How bad is this?

Tonight after i realized this F-Up I proceeded to flush, clean and replenish the whole system. NOW, what should i do next to make sure the ladies make it through this? What exactly is in Foliar? Should I maybe take some ph balanced h2o and flush through the rockwool/cups hoping to "wash" off the roots a bit?

thanks for any help. (1st post)

foliar is sprayed to the foliage, the leaf

although with weed its generally advised against foliar feeding unless you really know what your doing

I did realize this after the fact. Im kinda looking for any advice on cleaning the roots/rockwool and any possible remedies that i might want to do get the roots back to normal. Im guessing that the flush and a little time might be the only thing i could do but just wanted to ask.

----BTW, im using a bubbleponic type setup.

So i just ran a couple cups of clean h20 through the tops of each cup then i gently pulled all of them out one at a time and lightly dipped the roots in-and-out of the clean h2o and it seemed to rinse them a little. hopefully when i check them tomorrow they will be cleaner. not 100% hopeful though. As of now the tops look good still but the roots are showing some signs of stress. Time and experience will tell.

no big deal. foliar is like really diluted normal nutrients, so it wont effect anything really. It should be fine in your rez, no need to flush even.
