(newbie) Costal growing questions

Im starting my first grow this year about half a mile from the coast in Socal and the spot gets a lot of fog and marine layer at the end of May through June that typically ends around 12-1 each day and then it is very sunny. Due to the strange weather it has been hard for me to find info on this specific growing situation. I am planning on growing an auto flower, but I dont know which exact strain would be good in these conditions. Im looking for a strain that does not take a long time to grow and is suitable for fog and then hot and sunny weather. If anyone has any ideas on what would work and any tips for growing by the coast it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

would you recommend those even tho it will be very hot and sunny after the fog cleares?

I would look for sativa dominant auto strains also, they handle heat and humidity well

Look at the most prominent strains grown in NY.

Summer is hot and humid all the time.

Google that shit.

I looked at the average humidity and it dont go past 70% at the peak. Would you say to still look for a NY one tho?

I think you’ll benefit from growing kush strains, they seem to love strong sun as long as you feed them well.

Yes. Anything over 55% humidity can cause mold. You want mold and heat resistant
