Hey I am sorry to ask what I am sure is a dumb question but only one of the 4 seeds I planted made it and I am trying my hardest not to kill this last one. So I uploaded a photo below she is about 3 or 4 weeks old and I was wondering if I could start taking clones from her yet?

Could u give more details on cutting for cloning. I was reading how, and it said you need cut below a 4th set of nodes to get a clone work, but i dont see how if youve got a smaller plant.
I took a cutting ages ago, id already topped the plant. I tried using willow tree hormone for the cutting solution, its stayed alive and grown a little but its been weeks and its still not established itself yet.
Do cutting have to be taken from the main trunk/stem/branch, or can u make a cutting from a side shoot bit.

Thanks, matty.

Clones should be almost as big around as your main stem is now. 5 weeks is about as early as I've been able to get viable clones from. Wait 2-3 weeks dude. BigSteve.

I trimmed @ 4 weeks, just before flowering,
I picked up 2" netpots and collars on ebay.
went to the dollar store and purchased a tupperware type storage container.
painted the outside black
cut 6x 1&3/4" holes on the lid.
drilled a hole @ the rim and ran an airline in.
CUT THE BOTTOMS OFF THE NETPOTS
so you can trans plant the clones.
cut the clones on an 45 degree angle.
dipped them in clonex,(I hear honey works too)
slipped them into the collar with about 3/4" of stem below the collar
Put them under 24hrs of light, 7-14 days later they should be rooted
Its very simple and can be cheap to do.

Another question I have is when working with hydroponics when can I move the rockwool cubes into the netpots? Should it be as soon as it pops up or once roots show? If I put them in there as soon as they pop do I just hand water them until the roots reach the water ?

Once roots start to show through the rockwool you're good to transplant. Before you go and chop down your plant MAKE SURE YOUR CUTS HAVE A MINIMUM OF 4 NODES!!!!!! I've tried 3 nodes and they've never rooted. With that being said, I'd wait until your plant gets bigger before you start cloning.
