Hey guys and gails how's it going good I hope, this has probly already been anserd but how tight can node spaing be? Is ther a problem with to tight of a node space? Jw thanks y'all!!!

you what the node space to be close but sativa have well spaced nodes 2"+ and indica can be as close as 1/2"
so to answer you question it all down to you growing technique

i used to think close nodes are always good but not if your plant is bushy, it reduces airflow and increase mold risk and bud rot
but growing to top a plant you want it as close as possible for the first 6" and sog as close as possible

I never have. I got some right now that are 6 inch high and nodes are about 1/4 inch apart. I have made some weak by topping to much and keeping them short

unlucky you can top a lot and have healthy plants

The sooner the better. But you don't want to interupt the light cycle if you don't need to. No light is best but a green cfl comes in handy when you need to get in there.

i think i have over 10 heads on this one

I was experimenting. Veg 2 for 12 weeks topped every week. They had about 30 shoots. They did ok just needed alot of yoyos. And colas whernt as big as I wanted. But over all produced as much as the other plants.

I hate saying pull it out on something I can't see very well. But others are saying it's a male. So I would. You have others so it's not worth the risk to think it's a herm. 1 male can polinate every plant within 100 feet.

i like the ideal and found a way to have a large number of nodes on a plant and its worked 7 good heads 3rd week in flower

next i am going for 14 nodes

Male plants I kill, but herm plants depend on how herm they are...one or 2 spots? I will just leave them be, maybe pull off the sacks, but not generally worry about it...herm pollen makes a lot fewer seeds than a male.

i have done this on over 10 plants with same results
when i first tried it i got 4oz's off a plant in a 14ltr bucket soil
and just topped once but 3 weeks less in veg and same height in 14ltr bucket 2oz's
so i found a way to increase my yeild

this is a pic of my plant in one of the early grows with my system, look at the colas compared to the size of the plant
