Gets ya everytime lol Defiantly post the picture once you get a bass on the fly rod
Its so much more rewarding and the fight is much better than on a spin rod. I do spinning aswell its usually better here when the rivers are up. I actually went for a fly fish today and caught a brown trout on a dry fly which was good fun.Make a trip to NZ one day for a fish, get a guide for a day and youl be sussed! I was just looking at the pictures of the fish... Looking good man that kingfish is awesome Ive always wanted to land one of those the fight must be pretty hardcore haha

to be honest i hate deep sea fishing and landing a big king is a lot of work. deep sea fishing is jigging heavy jigs up and down until you get hits then dragging a powerful heavy fish up 200m from the bottom. heavy line and well set drag means your probably not going to lose the fish and its just a lot of hard work with little adrenaline.Gets ya everytime lol Defiantly post the picture once you get a bass on the fly rod

i prefer bass fishing any day, theres nothing as exciting as seeing a big bass smash your lure off the top of the water then hearing your drag scream as it runs straight into the snags, i use light line and trust me every second you have a wild bass on, your heart is racing because you havnt caught a bass until its actually in your kayak. same goes for bream.
plus with bass fishing you get the added extra of fshing some beautiful rivers and creeks and you get to take on some rapids between pools. what more could you ask for. every bass fishing trip is a full blown adventure for me.

gave frisian its first full dose of blooming nutes 3 days ago, checked it today and its in full flower 
will definately be done end of feb because shes a really quick strain. will give kushberry first small dose in a couple days. no pics sorry next time

Sure is beautiful mate, the kawekas are closer i think they're half way between here and Tauranga Id say. Sounds about right for snow capping around march April although it might be a little latter here but defiantly are right through winter. Oh yeah and good ganja, good stags and fast motorbikes sounds pretty damn fine if you ask meYou gotta go for a hunt in the Tararuas sometime man its beautiful.

Damn those panama have really taken of! You've got a mad spot getting 10 hours of light. I reckon youl get one male and 2 females but hey who knows and damn your going to have some sexy plants if you get red phenos lol Is it algood to remove damaged leaves and stuff like that? Also there are two tiny little leaves at the bottom almost were the stem starts that just dont get enough light and have been a center meter for agggggges probably a month and a half can I just remove them?
Probably a delayed summer id say things are only just starting to clear up down here. Met service is predicting good weather for awhile down here finally yuuus I think summer might finally be starting/back properly down here lol
I reckon you can still get alot hotter up your way and even here It gets hotter than what it is. Your weather is primo though because you dont even need to water them
My plants probably just over a meter in height id say. The toping has kept it down which has worked out quite well because the bottom stems have had time to catch up so id say it will be bushier now which is good. I hope the "real" summer does come becasue its defiantly not up to its full potential yet

The panamas probably get more than 10 hours direct sun now that they're bigger. I hope so, 2 females would be awesome!, I'll probably get a nice red hash pheno.
Yeah you can remove any shitty leaves from the bottom that don't get any light - the thing with planting in the woods is they only get top light.
I have been getting steady sun with 24 highs on average lately, not summer weather though and its real mild like march/april weather. I'd say my plants are over 4 ft now.
it's basically sativa land up here with outdoor cause we get a bit of rain come april-may, we get high night time temps like whangarei,kaitaia etc.
Your plant has some big leaves, looks indica to me. Watch out because it will probably start flowering soon - hopefully it's a female bro and if it is you will have plenty of smoke.
How many direct hours of sun does it get?

The best distributor for NZ, safe-fast and reliable. Look into their Panama and orient express, you could just buy a single fem seed from each strain that you like. Orient express would be the highest yielding and easiest strain by Ace - rare genetics too.
Buckets - yeah I got the Malawi from Ace. Imo the best available version of it in seed form.
well went for a quick looksy today in the pouring rain and got bloody pissed off!! cheeky lil bunny rabbits ive never had so much trouble with the lil bastards. ive always only ever used that plastic strawberry netting for cages the possums don't like it cos its loose and cant climb it. well mr bunny just chomped straight through the stuff and had a field day. grrrr lost 14 to them they were all the smaller ones under 2 foot. on a good note tho the afghan is boosting since it got munched by bunnies a month or so ago and my love potion, white widow x big bud, aurora and melon gum are all well over 6 foot now. all the lower branches of them got hammered ages ago so they don't bother the big plants thank god. definatly using chook mesh next year

My order from Herbies got through. I officially have fifty feminised taskenti in my hands and they look nice and healthy. Thanks for telling me about ace seeds. I'll try and order from them in the next few weeks. So you still have quite a few months ahead of you for the outdoor shows eh? What kind of a yield can taskenti have outdoors and is th dry product hard and easy to trim? What about the malawi?

here's a malawi indoors(not mine). looks easy enough to trim. 
here's my taskenti mum a few weeks into flower. 
here's someone else's taskenti at the end of flower for a better idea of flower to leaf ratio. all this plant wants to do is produce resin!

Thanks for showing me those pictures crazy kiwi. They're quite cool to see. The seeds from herbies were tortoise colors, which means good seed? I'm thinking they look good. If I popped all fifty I wonder if any of them would give me any problems. Only one sure way of knowing I guess eh. Awesome pictures!

all good bro, I dont know what you mean by tortoise colours. are they light brown(creamy light brown) and more rounded than usual seeds?. I'd say popping all seeds would be a waste - most of them are the same anyways and you're better off just starting 10 and picking a nice broad leaf pheno - there is only 2 phenos I think, 1 out of 10 are the sativa thin leaf and the rest are the classic uzbeki broad leaf.

Defiantly mate! Thats tones of light they must be grown faaaast as now. Algood I removed some shitty leaves today so that should help.
Yea ived noticed that It only gets mostly top light and a bit of side light so that's something to consider next time I guess.
The weathers been great down here my plants loving it. Niice and sunny with just average temperatures like 20 - 24 although its supposed to be 25 tomorrow but its a unusual low of 6 tonight! Im guessing you get alot more sativa grows up there?
I gave mine some nitro soil today and gave it a spray with the neem also looked at were the preflowers were and they look male but ill continue to wait and see. If its a male i think ill still grow it becasue Im learning heaps so I wont be to
pissed if it is
Ive learnt heaps so far that I can put to good use in future grows lolThose flowering Malawi look wack! Cant wait to see those big resinous heads. Yea defiantly looking more indica there are some huge leaves wider than my hand span haha Probably about 6 hours direct sunlight for my plant id say.

Yeah id agree mate deep sea fishing is no were near as exciting as spinning or fly fishing! Its alright occasionally as something different maybe.
But yea I agree completely with what you were saying about watching the fish take the lure, light tackle, playing it etc
So much fun. Its alot more of an adventure walking up a river spotting fish and relaxing not to mention catching them and playing them.

I don't have the ability to grow clones so I am going to grow from seed. That's why I ordered fifty of them. You know what would work great with these fabric grow pots? Redsign the geo pot so it can hold a decent size bag of coco coir and then be able to be strung up to the side of a tree. If we could ladder these plants up the sides of trees then the critters wouldn't get to them. Redesign the fabric pots!

I'm gonna be checking out the colloidal silver method of taking two female clones of the same strain, spraying one with colloidal silver (pure silver rods are on trademe for $30)
for the first two weeks of flower to get it to produce pollen and pollinating the girl that hasn't been sprayed. $30 experiment to see if i can get copy's of a strain, i'll probably
stick with cloning though.
I always keep my orders under 15 for piece of mind and my last order was over $100, how much did 50 set you back?

Cloning is easy as man and the taskenti clones well. is there many snakes or dangerous animals where you plan on growing?.

Ordering small numbers is a wise move.
I am about to order some might Durban X Pakistani Kush from highrise seeds at the royal Canadian marijuana collective and I have asked for no freebies and to have them send it out in 2 different packages. Ordering 50 seeds of that feminzed strain as well.
