New York Power Diesel - 1000W HPS Flower + 500W LED - First Grow, First Flower...

Check out this set up...I just started the girls on 12/12 today. That is a 1000W HPS with some BS hortilux bulb and a 500W blackstar LED (UV) light as a supplement. Plants are 5 weeks old from seed. Bushy as all hell, lots of branch low and out. Hoping to get at least 250 grams from them (with 1500 watts for 4 plants I'd better). Can survive with half that. They are in 5 gal pots, soiless mix, 70/30 peat to perlite, with some sand mixed in (crushed stone not play sand), Jacks classic nutes along with humic acid and molasses. Just flushed the girls last night (as I am told that this is the time to do so). Suggestions, comments? I have a grow journal for these guys in my signature.

so much light for so little plants! good luck on the fence about getting a 500w blackstar how noisy are the fans on them loud enough so you can hear it when closing the closet door?
