New YEar Shroom HELP - Need Advice

Happy New Year RIU community, I am having a little problem:wall:.

I have been colonizing this TEXAS strain in some 1/2 pint jars for about 3 weeks. I need help from everyone----:bigjoint:

Do you think that these are contaminated? i.e. MOLD?

I would hate to throw these away. I plan on doing a case grow this time ( beaking up the cakes and spreding across on the btm of a baking sheet, and initiate pinning inside a fruiting chamber).

These pictures are all of the same jars, just rotated a quarter turn for every picture.

open those outside the house, downwind from yourself, and don't breathe any of it in. Wash them out well before bringing inside.

what you doing pf tec right? if thats verm in there i dont think i see any contaminations bro. i think its colonizing slow has fuck due to your temps not being warm enough... you want 82-85 degrease to colonize fast

I don't think that that the temperature are an issue, because They have been colonizing under 85 °F Temp. S if you don't htink that they are contaminated, that's the best news I have hear so far.

if its not due to heat issue and i dont see any contams, the only other think i can see happening here is your cakes are dehydrated...

also you didnt just stuff your subrate into those jars to tight did you? that will def. slow down mycellium growth

You know that might be the issue! I remember slightly packing the jars, but ever so gently! I was aiming for them to be loose, but I guess tey were packed to tight! Awesome advice, I knew someone would help my ass out, thanks Bro!:clap:

Id say your alright, I can't tell from the pictures if its green or not tho ( doesn't look like it ). if it is green at all tho its the dreaded trichoderma! and u gotta get those jars out! or boil them for a long while.

One question tho is it hard to the touch or fluffy?

I am not sure yet because I haven't birthed the jars, so Should I pop the top and feel the myscelin, or what? So far, everyone said I should be alright........:?:

I'd like it if you can take a pic of only the worst looking jar, its so hard to see with 3 in that small pic... If it smells yeasty or apple cidery its a good sign of badness too....

Sorry man, i've been growing boomers for a little while, and while I have only recently started having successful grows...Sadly I have plenty of experience with contaminated grows. And those jars you got there, are 100% compromised.

Do what ANC said and discard them outside with a mask on. If it makes you feel better I must have gone through...I don't know... 20 or 30 syringes of different strains using the PF tek, before I finally found the right way to do everything. Just keep at it and try tweaking certain things every time you sterilize and inoculate and eventually you will figure it out.
But seriously...do NOT try and fruit those jars.
