I will keep everyone posted. I am excited too. And its legal. So even better. I grew some hilacious tomatoes one year. Pinched nodes and what do ya know? More tomatoes. I had so many. So hopefully i do the same with this.

Finally bought some seeds from NASC. Ethos-Planet of the grapes strain. Should be here in a couple of days. I think i will just start a grow journal. What is an easy way to do that on here?

I think i am set up pretty good. 5x5 Ac infinity tent and 6 inch fan and carbon filter for exhaust. I know i probably need one for intake also with carbon filter. 640w grow station led light with controller for sun up and sun down. All for my ebb and flow system. I figured 5 plants in there for a 4x4 table. Using 6 inch rockwool. Any advice is welcome. But my question is. Where is a reputable place to buy seeds? I used growers choice and they are jacking me around. I spent $200 with them. I have also been looking at ethos seeds. Please help me. I wanna get to growing. Also some extra thoughts being new. I have grown some bad ass tomatoes. From what i learned so far. I use the same technique to get bud sites to grow. Just right timing. Am i correct on this? I have pics but my signal won't let me attach them.
Right off the top, my advice is to buy a second AC infinity fan, except get an 8" with an 8" carbon filter. It's not much more, and you won't regret it.
Second, your intake doesn't need a real carbon filter, this product works great

Second, why are you worried about your intake so much?? Passive Intake works great!
Also, do NOT intake air from the outdoors. That air will have uncontrollable temp swings, high humidity often, and potential of bugs or pathogens, even with a filter.

Slap a 8" AC infinity at the top for exhaust, hook it to a 8" carbon filter. Exhaust that air outdoors if you can, if not, maybe another room in the apartment.

Passive intake from the bedroom through the bottom of the tent would work just great. Plants will love the extra CO2 from you and your family/pets.

If you need additional air flow due to high negative pressure on the tent, then add a 6" intake fan. (Or you can add it off the bat).
You can add that mesh 6" screen filter on Amazon I posted above for it, this will keep out dog hair and other small pathogens in the bedroom.

Ac infinity is really nice because you can link your intake and exhaust together on the same controller to work in syncrony.

I reccomend advancing to their upgraded controller, I will share the link below. It allows you to set your typically high limits, but when the tent is below that, you can set a minimum, so the fans never totally shut off. This helps maintain a light negative pressure in the tent at all times so marijuana smell does not escape except through your carbon filter

Why an 8 inch fan for such a small tent? I am definitely getting another 6 inch for intake though. So i keep the temperature inside the house at 72 and the tent really won't go above 65 degrees and the humidity is only 40 percent max. When the fans are on it gets cooler. Too cold

I had a 6" AC infinity exhaust plus a 6" AC infitinty intake, couldn't get humidity low enough.
Smaller plants than I had, sure your probably okay, but its not much more $ to buy the 8" off the bat instead of buying a 6" then having to also buy a 8" like I did.
Just trying to save you the hassle from my experience. Take it for what you want

Also I am confused, if the house is 72°, that's a good temp for plants. Why are they at 65? And why would the tent get colder when you intake air from inside the house? It should get closer to 72

Im not sure about the temperature thing. It is definitely pulling air in. And i don't have it mounted backwards. Lol.
I also plan to get a nutrient reservoir heater. And keep that water at about 72.

68 is a better temperature for nutrient water
Also if you plan to store it for more than a couple days, you will want to put a pond pump in there, or an airstone maybe. This will keep the water from stagnating, and going bad for atleast acouple weeks.

I figured out the temp in my tent. Calibration! Duh! Lmao. Anyways. I just did it like a thermometer and stuck it under my tongue. Set it to 97 temp and 100 percent humidity. Its brand new. So no biggie. No nutrients on it.

The water falling back into the reservoir for 15 minutes at a time isn't enough? It makes alot of bubbles. And then the water level fluctuates also. I have heard the airstones are bad news. I also plan on not emptying my nutes for the whole grow. Why waste money? And they aren't cheap.

Sorry I missed you were in ebb and flow
The waterfall effect does a good job, but I would still recommend an air stone. I'm not sure why they would be bad news

I'm no expert at specifically ebb and flow but I am very good at dwc, and I know its important to change water out occasionally because the plants uptake nutrients at uneven rates. This causes the nutrient balance in the resivoir to go out of wack, creating excess in some nutrients, and deficiency in others.

I would love to run my duct work to the window. But i live in a condo. Like an apartment. Its legal for me to grow. But people will ask questions. Can i run my bathroom exaust fan backwards and suck clean air in from outside?
we used to have a tent before we built a dedicated room. We took a wood board, cut it to the width of the window, painted it white and cut a 4 inch round hole in the board to run the exhaust venting. If you cut the hole correctly the venting just wedges in the round hole. You could even decorate it with flowers or something to make it look like its some kind of pottery barn accessory. I don’t think this would arouse much suspicion because portable air conditioners basically do the same thing.

What a great idea. I actually just went out and purchased a dual window fan. It has exhaust and intake. I just ran my duct work to it. I will probably get some pantyhose and then use metal ducting tape and tape it right to the fan

That AC Infinity should be pulling air out of the tent.

When set up properly, air from inside the tent travels through the carbon filter and the AC Infinity should then be pushing the air out of the tent and exhausted outside the room or outside the house.

There is no need for another fan as an intake. Open a flap at the bottom of the tent as a passive intake. The air being pulled in from the room is fresh, no need for it to be outside air.

Not true, those AC infinity fans work much more efficiently under less load (static pressure). You also don't collapse the sides of your tent in as much.

I just can't understand why the OP still plans on intaking air from the outdoors instead of the bedroom. The outdoor humidity is going to kill him

Im not going to do that anymore. But i did purchase a window dual exhaust fan. I am going to use metal insulated ducting tape to attach my exhaust to the fan. Problem solved.

And also purchase another smaller 4 inch intake fan to create the right pressure. So like you say...It isn't sucking the sides of the tent in. I have the digital control for the fans and can run 2 so they work together to create the best pressure.

Did you take a look at the more advanced controller? imo worth the investment
Bluetooth too
