So all of the seedlings I had were males :cuss::wall:, but my little ak47 showing beautiful little hairs at a whopping 2" tall. And my hairy Mary plant getting nice and tricomie. I can't believe all of my newest seedlings came out to be male. Shit sucks. But I'm sticking to just these two plants now. I need to be a good student to these plants. Learning my way to harvest.

now my oldest plant is showing signs of nute burn, but I'm not giving it any nutes lol. I've heard some nute burn is good for flowering plants. But since I butchered my lower fan leaves ,there's no bumper for error.
My advice is to re veg the confirmed females, and clone the shit out of them so you never have to pop a seed again..

As far as spraying nutes on leaves, I don't think so (also don't quote me on that) simply because roots are very specifically designed for this very function. There are sprays designed to protect from pests and mold and help leaves absorb light better but spraying nutes on leaves will probably just burn them, especially seedlings - they are very sensitive.
Bro, its called foliar feeding and its VERY benificial. I foliar feed up until halfway through flower almost. Google it. Also, I use the same nute mix for my soil and foliar mix. I dont dilute it any extra and no burning. Just research a bit more before trying to steer someone away from something.

Ok so this is my girl she just started flowering jan 6th '14, she's def showing signs of nute deficiencies. (Pale lower leaves, leaves getting crispy, burnt tips) I'm not sure what's going on or why it's doing this now. I haven't changed anything. I just added three drops of nutes to my gal jug of phd water. Wtf is going on??

Now this is my youngest girl, she's doin ok, she's also showing the same signs but not as bad. (Pale lower leaves) also what's most strange is that it's turning purple in the center. Could this be its genes? Or is this bad?

Best advice I can give to you for next time would be go to Ebay and buy a $60 150w hps sunburst, 2 or 3 3gallon smartpots ranging from $10-$15, find any soil that doesn't have nutes add perlite and add dolomite lime for pH....you can also add worm castings blood and bone meal in small amounts to your soil. I will get pics sometime kinda paranoid bout taken pics but anyhow that's how my setups go and i do great every time never fails...best thing to always remember is try to stick with nature as much as possible anything more or less and you're gonna get into trouble also when u feed it's always better to do it on the low side of things and have amendments in the soil instead of going heavy on the bottle with no amendments to the soil I bet if you do this for 1 run you'll be ashamed that you actually posted pics up showing this grow :) gets funner and funner everyday man i'm glad you're at it though just do alot of reading on this site and you can be a pro in no time

Even if you plan to do 12/12 from here on out, this advice won't fail you

Not trying to be a dick or anything so I'm terribly sorry if I came off that way

trash the soil, trash the tin foil... buy a 5kg bale of coco and use coco... if i remember you said eariler that you were phing your water? just keep water at 5.8 with coco and your golden... that will take care of the soil problem, nutes in soil etc....

http://www.amazon.com/CocoTek-GH98145-COCOTEK-5KG-BAIL/dp/B004D441ZO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1391054690&sr=8-1&keywords=5kg+coco+bale

now, since coco has no nutrients.. your going to need to add some.. i use kiss style feeding which means keep it simple stoner... maxibloom from start to finish.. 7 grams per gallon. since its a powdered nutrient, it must be weighed.. 7 grams to a gallon of water
also, i found out the hard way, you need cal mag for coco... so basically all you need is maxibloom as the main nutrient and cal mag as a additive...in the link, is the old label of cal mag which is why it says discontinued.. they changed the label still called the same thing

http://www.amazon.com/2-2-lbs-Stimulator-Hydroponic-Hydroponics/dp/B000CO7U02/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1391054802&sr=8-1&keywords=maxibloom

and last but not least... you need more light for bigger buds man.. no doubt about it one bit... you can try out coco hempy buckets too.. but im telling you the advice i gave you will save alot... 5.8 ph 7 grams per gallon maxibloom and 3-5ml of cal mag a gallon and thats it from start to finish and you wont see any problems unless you actually try to have issues
