New to the Forum. Pine Forest Q & A

Hi to everyone. New to the group and gardening. I am planing on growing near a heavy pine forest. I hear the grown can be very acidity. The forest is very think and has opening in the pines for sunlight.
Any tips or suggestions on dealing with the soil. or should i just pick another spot. But this spot is perfect. I will be growing indicas and sativas.

That is what I was thinking or possibly growing in pots, but I feel safer in the ground when it comes to harvest due to the weather. Thanks for the welcome.

Watering would be easier, pots will dry faster than the ground will.

Best suggestion I can offer is to read, read, and read some more. Lots of folks and info here to help you learn....Welcome to RIU

And, not to mention that pots and buckets stand out like a sore thumb in the woods.
