New to the forum and to growing pot as well. Just wanted to introduce myself.

I'm from the USA, in my late 30's and was tired off paying crazy prices for pot when I moved across the country. I've got my first grow drying right now. Was very lucky and with 2 window ac units and a dehumidifier all running full bore, my tent has been staying around 61° with 60-65% humidity. I've got 6 days down. They turned out good but I had some heat stress a few weeks back and it caused some foxtailing and I think turned a lot of trichs amber. When I saw the amber I posted a few pics and was told what I was already thinking which was they were ready. Literally the first thing I saw on my phone when I got back in from chopping and hanging was a reply from someone saying it looked more like ambering from heat stress bc of the clear trichs still there. I started looking back at more close ups and was seeing a good bit of clear. I think that dude was right on. Plus the buds don't look like they swelled up as much as they wanted to. One more week I think. Live and learn. I've got amnesia lemon and og kush from Barney's Farm just entering veg now. I'm very excited about this grow. When I transplanted them a week ago the roots were 100x better this time around. Plus I'm using great white, Mr fulvic, and seriously thinking about getting PowerSi to go with the ff line up. I've got maybe 2 grows left with the ff nutrients, then I'm going to check out a recipe I found on another forum. If you read all that thanks, lol. You'll be seeing me around.

I hear ya, heat stress blows.
I've dealt with that nonsense to many times.

Barneys farm gear eh, well I don't know much about their stuff, but the LSD I grew wasn't very potent, looked gorgeous tho, but the Vanilla kush was to die for in high effect and taste. My gosh it was that good!

You can see my light heat raped the top of my VK.

Is it the red stigmas up top? That show the heat stress i mean. I ran my last grow in the 70's and rh in the lower 50's. I was worried about getting mold or bud rot so I kept everything low. But I've been hearing more that lower 80's and 60% until mid to late flower is beneficial. It'd be a bit cheaper than trying to keep the tent at 72°. Thanks for the reply.

Mostly the leaf tacos. Curling up like you could load some sour cream, beef, cheese etc and eat em.

Other strains I've had major foxtailing occur also which just ruins the main cola bag appeal :)

Cheers!

I missed the tacoing. Thanks for the knowledge though. How are people liking things? I can't find a like button anywhere.

Like button should show up beside reply.
Might be because of the points system they use here.

You'll have to post, earn a few likes, and the system should reward you eventually with more site functions.

Cheers
