I was planning to do that for my first hydro grow.

Yep totally, but i will also use the drip ring all the way thru the grow as well as the air stone to add air/ oxy to the nutes as well as let the roots reach to the water.


My idea here is rather than keep toppin off with water..ill let res run lower than ya normally would, ( partially due to drip ring still feeding roots) Then ill mix a whole another batch of nutes...* fresh and fill 2nd bucket up....let water balance a lil then PH. My thought there is then they use full strength nutes all the way thru..rather than watering em down daily

you might want to think about using something like house and garden's drip clean. it helps prevent salt buildup in drip rings, sprayers, etc.

Cool Cool.....I use SLF 100..so im thinking it will help battle also....cause its used to break up excess salts.
