Pretty new to growing still. I have 2 grows under my belt. I am a Med. Card holder. I am a Iraq War Vet. Joined the site trying to find more information so that I can turn out my own meds. Got 3 strains I am starting from seed now. Sage & Sour, Acid, Blue Cheese. Looking to maybe add more but for now want to get these 3 figured out. Has anyone had any experience with these strains? Would appreciate any info you would like to share. BTW thank you all for the wealth of knowledge I have all ready attained from this site. I look forward to reading more!

I've been around a while just never logged on! I was wondering about a auto flower strain. I don't have a way to get great femi seeds so I just grow from the ones I have found and saved. I started out buy growing 5 total seeds. after about a month and a half. I took three clones from each plant and a week after I took them. #2 plant was starting to show hairs. I have 24/0 lighting and was scrathing my head. Why is this one plant starting to flower? Now it's been a three weeks since I took clones and four our of my five plants were males so I cut them down got rid of the clones that were males. I only have this one mother that all ready started to flower. I figured at least I got three clones of a one female! Now the clones are growing so slow. I need to know If I'm wasting my time with the clones and why would someone create a strain like this??? From what I've been reading on here is that clones don't grow well from any auto flower strain. Why would someone want a strain that flowers early??? Is this some government ploy to pollenate female crops? Not to sure about ya'll but I don't like this strain so far!

Welcome to riu! Auto's IMO...are for outdoor/growers, who's environment will not support a plant through til flower auto's will flower with any light schedual and you cannot clone them either? idk why indoor growers get them thinking they are better for some reason?
We have no control when they flower??? From seed plants will show pre-flowers at about 4-6 weeks when sexually matured
Got any pics? to we can see about what your saying about your cuttings?

you can clone an auto, its just that its pointless as it will be the same age as the mother plant it came from, and there fore it won't get big at all before it automatically goes into flower, hence it being an auto.. it will probably still be trying to root when it starts to flower, and you'll just simply end up with like a 10 inch plant and not very much bud..
i don't really get the point of auto's either.. i guess they are good for some people who are looking to get some quick bud and not have to wait out a very long flowering period plant..

Thanks Lime and Racerboy! I used to grow out doors and loved it. I had to move my op in doors tho. I have 4- 68w CFL's and two LEDs one 90w and one 120w. I started up five of them and took three clones from each after growing for a month. Then two days after taking my clones still in 24 hrs light I noticed hairs on one of them and I moved it into the flower room. Strated 12/12 lighting only one was fem. (shitty) I started four more a month after finding the Auto flower start to bloom. Now the four I started up, three are fem. autos. Not to bad to get three fems out of four plants but I need a moma plant dame it! Sorry for that rant. Now about find the right Beans! I am kinda sketched on buying them and really want to have a strain I know or at least one I can clone from. Any Idea's???
