New to ripen, few questions.

Hi,

I need to finish off the plants inside my flowering room pretty quickly as I have a large amount of other plants I want to put in there.

Sativas.
Usual time to harvest is about 14 to 16 weeks in flower.
They have been in there now for around 10

Currently the tricomes are all nearly full size and some are starting to bend over.

Anyway, few questions.

I want to give them one last nutrient solution.

Will ph the water (as well as add some hydrogen peroxide) then I am considering also adding some diamond nectar to help them get the last bit of nutes they can in.

Good idea or bad idea?

Anyway, next and subsequent waterings will be with ripen and H2O2. I think I will do this for around 14 days then give them another 4 to 6 days to flush with plain water and chop.

Is this insanity of will this work?

I am not a fan of trying to take shortcuts but once in a while there is no other option.

I'm with ya so far....

Trics bending over?

Lets just stop right there these questions....
Stop all the mumbo jumbo in your mind....

Just let your plants be happy.... Don't confuse them at the end with H2O2 what ?
Questions for you:
What are you growing in/what is your medium?

Most likely, you should just keep on keeping on till the end...

No, will not make a difference....

Good Luck!!!

4th from left. In my experience they start doing that when closer to maturity.

It is pretty much just a continuation of what i am already doing.

50/50 coco peat and perlite, about 1 table spoon dolomite lime per 2l medium.

Most likely, you should just keep on keeping on till the end...

Thank you for the good luck at the end as well, also, pretty much aired my worries.

I would like to see what others have to say though but think I may give the diamond nectar a miss. :)

I decided to experiment on one plant first.

Started last night, will see what happens.

All she got was ripen and hydrogen peroxide in ph'd water.

If you look at your bottle of H2O2 does it say:
3% H2O2 ?
Do you know what the other 97% is? Water.... that's right, so if you give your plant 10 OZ of H2O2 [from the bottle]....
You have just given your plant [point] .3 oz of H2O2..... Do you actually think, that it will make a difference in the last two weeks? If you put that small amount of it on?
Then, will it be the "Ripen" or H2O2 that causes your plant good, or evil?
Always fun to try to experiment....

My bottle says 50% (I live in South Africa, we don't have all that many people making DIY bombs and shit here, if they want explosives they just buy them off a mine employee).

I put in 1cc per L so .5cc's of H202 per 1000ml

It is a tiny amount but you can see the difference, just watch the run-off for a few minutes. Looks like a spilled soda after a while.

Anyway, .5cc of h202 adds around 50ml of o2 to the water as it decomposes. adding/forcing another 50ml of 02 into already well aerated water.

IOW 5% more 02 in my water (this is a slower than expected process, the h202 has to break down/decompose for the Oxygen to become available).

Some comparisons for you:

We have around 20% 02 in the air we breathe.
Your average flowing river has about 12mg of dissolved oxygen per 1L of water.

Now 02 aside, I also have absolutely zero fungus, microbes or anything else to worry about, the medium is sterile due to me adding some h202 to my nutrient mixes every 2n'd round.
This means I also do not have nor ever will have fungus gnats as they have nothing to eat :)
As an added bonus the H202 chemically dissolves dead root matter.

I kinda do method rotation (or whatever you want to call it).
A couple of cycles of non organic then I nuke the room with pesticides, clean it out and do a couple of cycles of organic.
Only time I ever get bugs is when doing things organically.
