One thing to look out for is different strains might need different water/feed requirements, veggies times ........ just a thought.
Yessir! I did the research and all should work well together except for the blackjack which has a much longer flowering time. Although i guess that isn't a huge deal if i leave that single plant in the tent a few more weeks.

I am probably going to do the Aurora, and the Northern lights. And maybe a third plant for the white widow.

I need to do some more research on LST so i can be ready when the time comes. I am not sure how far down to bend the stem, and i know there must be a sweet spot to bend it at.

You are in for a lot of reading! Best way to start this hobby. Even canopy's and even light is always the goal. doesn't always happen that way " especially with multiple strain runs" but the more effort that goes into it will yield the best results.
Even tall Satavias like this haze Dom strains can be trained low and give ya weight. this plant gave me just short of a p and a half. Photo is @ day 34P1010080.JPG

When i first started, i was in college, a friend at that time gave me a seed, of course i didn't know what it was. Me coming from a farmer/rancher family. So i decided to plant it, in a small pot in my dorm room and set it next to the window. About a month later, there was this plant in my window, that was beautiful looking. Me not knowing a being a dumb ass, i took it to a farmer i knew, he told me what it was gave me a pond to plant it next to. Gave me the best advice "patience, patience, patience, just take your time" still remember it to this day. Now and days welp,i guess i'll let the picture do the talking.WP_20170317_005[1].jpg

take your time, have patience, ask questions....happy growing

on a side note i do it for the same reason you do, back pain, i also do it cause my wife has MS, and it works for her big time

good luck, and happy growing

I am definitely in no rush. I am super excited to harvest my first plants, but i am definitely more concerned about taking the time and doing it right.

Thanks everyone

And definitely get your BS meter calibrated, there is a lot of "Bro Science" that gets passed around as fact in this hobby.

lol so true. The people i have been taking advice from, are long term members who seem to know their shit fortunately. I learned about COBS from Olive Drab Green who was nice enough to help me pick a good light for my needs and grow space.

I couldn't be happier with the Tasty Led i got. The quality of the product absolutely exceeded my expectations. Of course i am excited to see how well it grows.

Welcome and congrats Magus. I am also fairly new to growing. I currently have 2 blackjack plants in flower from Nirvana(7 or 8 weeks from flip). Both are doing well, they don't seem to like much for nutes past the ocean forest soil. They get about half of what my other 2 plants are getting.

They also stayed a fair amount shorter than the other 2 I have, but they are very dense and I think they will be decent producers. Only time will tell. Good luck and I'll be watching, I also have Northern Lights coming my way from Nirvana so I can't wait to see your progress.

Good luck!
