New to dwc day 16

Lol it’s in Fahrenheit 68-70 the “deg f” Got cut off didn’t catch it in edit sorry

When I add it I make sure the temp is adjusted before I pop the top back on. I don’t drain and fill from the port yet.

I hear ya, just trying to get the handle of the hydro grow before I jump fully into it. I will the have a drain and fill reservoir setup.

The info is very nice although she is still just drinking water and less nutrients so I think we are on the right track. However I’m still seeing some burn going on. But it may be just the effects of hopping it.

FF seemed to do great at first but several weeks in to flower everything stalled and my best plant took a nose dive. Seemed like a full nutrient makeover was warranted. I switched to general hydro as that seemed to be the consensus. I felt that any product that purports to be used in BOTH soil and hydro is a bit suspect And that muddy Big Bloom.... Running light load of GH (1.4 EC) as things get back up to speed.
All respect...

Looks like sulfur deficiency. Cheapest test is to Hit it w 10g magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts). If it was a deficiency that should green it up within a day. No harm in it, sincs it's hard to overdose on magnesium or sulfur, and only costs a couple bucks.

Btw here's a trip-- sulfur deficiencies are more common these days because fewer big SO2 spewing coal fires powrer plants are in operation, and plants can actually get all they sulfur they need from the SO2 in moderately polluted air. But if the air is 'too clean' and there's no sulfur in the rootzone either, a deficiency can develop.

True facts!

I ended up getting Hydroguard from botanicles, the roots started to turn a bit brown so I will post an updates on how she is doing but in the mean time my season two of northern lights auto flower in dirt is a few weeks left before it’s harvest time and she is starting to sparkle

Not sure if it wS mentioned but cover the pail so no light hits it. When changing nutes flush with plain water for 12-24 hrs first. Dump then reload.

Is it bad when I flush I do it for three days, then dump and introduce Fresh with nutes?
I run a 4 bucket rdwc with a 25g res. I flush for 24-36 hrs. Your trying to wash out the old. In a single dwc you can wash rinse several times in one day.

Ok so to flush I need to fill then empty a few times a day for my single bucket, I thought it was a slow process
Use your ppm meter to see if there’s still residual nutes in your water. If it’s the same as tap after it has sat for awhile your good.
