Hi,

so Im about to clone my ladies for the first time I know all about the cloning process but nothing on the environement.

1-Im planing to use a FLUORESCENT tube on my clones is that ok ?

2- 24 hre cycle for how long?

my other plants are using a 400watt hps but I cant afford an other one!!!

3-Do I water my soil every 3-4 days or it need to be soak wet all the time ?

4-How long does it take for clones to grow nice roots so I can put em 18/6?

Thank you all!

I don't put cuttings into soil until rooted. I'll put them into an areo garden, rapid rooter plugs or rock wool cubes.

the floro tubes are fine. Should stay under them for about 2 weeks (thats when roots should be developed)

Humidity should be 85% or better and temps 85F-90F ideal.

I've cloned into potting soil in the past, with good success. With regards to watering, I generally kept the soil pretty wet (checked every day, and probably watered every 2), for the first week. After the first week, I let it dry out a bit more, and watered when it was moist, rather than wet. 3rd week, I let it get pretty dry before watering.

There may be better ways, but I just sort of went off gut instinct, and it worked out fine. I had very few losses, out of a lot of clone runs, using this regime.

there is a great video on youtube on cloning just type in cloning and it will pop up. its hard to explain it without seeing how its done, i built an aeroponics cloner with shit i got laying around. once there are roots forming and the plant is strong i put them in rockwool and let it go till i see lots of roots then i veg to a foot tall and flower.

so i just cut under a node then just peal them down only removing the skin dip in root tone or gell your choice i still use the powder as i can but it at the local garden store.

ok so i use peet and perlite or soake the plug i dont like the plugs because it harder for me to check for roots. you want to spray them. i do mine twice a day yes you want to just keep them wet.

you want to get a plastic domb to keep them warm and moist.

i get roots in 8 or 9 days and i use the same time for veg 18/6 under t5ho

its importand to fold the bigger fan leaves and cut the tips off, this sends plant energy down to the root and roots will show faster

No need to "fold" the fan leaves on cuttings. Just take a pair of sissors and cut the leaves in half. A side benefit is that the leaves don't droop all over the place.

BigBudBalls has given the best advise in his post.
