My understanding of pollen pressing, is that once you've perssed, you then need to cook the thing to a degree to get the hash to "set" if that's the correct term. Can't offer much else than that i'm afraid. Does it come out all crumbly like simply pressed kief, or does it come out as a firm sinle piece?

I'm no hash-making expert - but I know some people use butchers paper or wax paper around the inside of the press. Just an odd tid-bit I remember from reading something. Not sure if it would apply to your situation though...

If you are using a screw press then it won't need heating. It won't be true hash unless heated it will just be pressed pollen. If you put wax paper between the pollen, and the press it will not stick. If I did it, I would heat the press in an oven on super low heat, and screw it down every 3 minutes with oven mitts. Then let it sit. Open, and voila! Hash...cut into blocks, and knife hit it!

Package the jar in a safe container and mail it to Alaska!
