I'm starting new plans for a grow cab ill be posting the blue prints I drew up later the basic idea is its gonna be a "tv" stand with a drop down panel door I will be using cfls and a few led lights along with UVB lights that turn on every so often during the day period. The lighting will be overhead and vertical. It will be set up just for flower with a few veg bulbs because I will be growing 12/12 from seed I may do 13/11 or 14/10 for the first 2-3 weeks as an experiment. There will be more details In the blue prints then hopefully I can get this built by the time my current grow is done.

How many plants do you think I could run with this set up it will be between 350-400w of cfl and led and I could always add more, the plants will be small cause they will be flowered as so as possible and I can always lst any tall ones.

so 350+ watts of cfl and led or 150-250 watt hps? i was planning cfl because of size and heat plus then i can have vertical lighting

LED lights i am not conviced about ....what i am hearing is that a 1 flower 2 veg for the veg stage and 2 flower 1 veg for the flower part .....this is based of the auto strains i have not attemped photo plants as this is my first since teen years

i would use the 3 Bulb on your side walls veg/flower change them out ....and the multi spec half veg/half flower lotus from the top

that should fill the whole thing ........if u think the yeild is small try the LED from the bottom get something with a return on it

the heat factor should be low u could turn the fan on and off let the co2 during the off hours of the light build up in the box ( light they make oxygen dark they make co2 all plants trees to flowers)

when the temp vaires about 7 10 degree in the light on phase turn fans back on and cycle

That's a good idea to let that co2 build up, once I got the fan on/off time narrowed down to keep the temps close I could put them on the timer making less variables in the grow.

i been working on that variable
my room dips 4 dergees between day and night and i have had fan blowning on the indor senors and the outdoor senor is where the intake fan lvl would be ......once u have yours just matter of figuring out the heat from the light and that should be minal

if u can have it in a room with a air condistioner so summer time u can set it ....winter time base borad heat or a heater on a fan

just rem to take in account what color the container is for the root temps black aborbs it all white reflects

I never thought about container color and temp thanks for saying that! And my can will be in a basement so the outside temp won't change much

the outside temp is just a probe on the wire ............i am partly under ground myself it makes the temps so much easier to controll..............if it is a unfinished area u know open dirt moldy smell ......add in a ozone gen aviod the curse of the musty basement tasting stuff

i am going to use it to see what it does in the box....the indoor is temp of the air entering the box and the outdoor will be the temp in the box .....the indor has a humity so i can see what it is going in if need be add little plate of water on open area something transparnet the water should evoprate slowly shoot fot the 45 60 mark
