New SoG idea, distant future.

I have about 9-10 weeks before I harvest the big Lemon Skunk bush I have vegging right now.
After that, I'm thinking about trying an experimental SoG for one flowering cycle.
If I don't like it, I will quit and return to single bush grows.

I have an 80w Fluorescent Tube lamp, it's about 4' long and 1' wide.
If this plan works at all with this light, I will consider upgrading to a 4' T5 setup.
If it turns into a pure nightmare, then I will trash the entire idea and stick with CFL's.

I was thinking of taking 2 seed starter trays and laying them lengthwise under the light.
This would make use of the entire light, and I was thinking of growing a total of 36 super small clones.
My longterm aim would be 1/8oz per plant, but I expect about 2g-3g on the first try..
If I got 2g off each plant I would get 72g, or about 2.5oz total.
And if I could ever make that 1/8oz goal, I would be getting a whopping 4.5oz.

Of course a lot of this is fanciful thinking and wild imagination induced by a bowl, but it's a lovely thought, and if I can get it to work, I might almost prefer it.

Personally I'd stick to the bush's , 36 small plant's is still 36 plants.

However in theory , what you say is kinda true.

Tho I have no idea what weight to expect off each plant tho , with such low lighting.

Really tho best way to increase yeild is better light's. Even LED's or a small 250 hps , now that will get you cracking ^^

Yea.. It's tough deciding which path to go.
I want to get a 150w CMH setup, but all total that will be around $110
I still want to try this idea out though, because for 80w of total power, who cares how much I yield?

+ If I do this, I'll already have practice, and could cut it back to 18 plants under a 150w system.
Hmmm.

Yeah is suppose get a few grows under our belt using what you have , after a few crops , I would invest. In a nice little light.

The way I look at it I can go between 1-2 ounce a month , without even trying.

That would cost me £300-£400 if I bought it .

So by saying that I can spend £300 a month on my grow and it's worth while , esp considering you wll get more than 2 ounce a month + you are in charge of the strains/ quality , so only the best.

That man is a fucking genious, and like many others on there I have been slapped across the face with the idea of SoG.
I like his style and many of his methods will be adapted.

I might mix in a few different techniques to perfect my own;
Sea of Green,
Monstercropping,
Deep Pots,
Bonsai Mums,
Re-Juvenating.

But it will be at least a couple months before that happens.
