New scrog grow 2 tote box containers

Starting off with 2 18gal i think maybe bigger i forgot(got last yr) $5 each, put mylar emergency blankets $3 each on the inside of them and sealed edges with foil tape $8. Used some spare wood to construct a frame for 5 porcelean ceiling light fixtures $2 each. 25ft of wire $11 and a cord with male plug on end $2. 8inch pot $2 each. Mirical grow soil $8/2 cu ft. 4pack of 23w cfl (1600lumes 5000k for growth phase) $11. 2pack 23w cfl (1500lumes 3500k , 1 bulb per setup whole time) $8. 4pack 23w cfl (1600lumes 2700k for flowering stage)$10. Spray bottle and electrical tape. Small fan $12. Bag of perlite $4 and bag seedstarter mix $3. chicken wire from neighbor free!

Used 2 totes ,2 blankets, 5 light fixtures, 4 5000k lights, 4 2700k lights and 1 3500k light,1 cord with plug, 3 pots and 1 fan for each set up. (Plus wire, tape,chickenwire, and soil/starter mix) Total of $98 for each setup.

Grew 1 Aroma and Silver Haze last yr in one box, Aroma turned out great 65yr old uncle-in-law said it was the best he has had in last 20 yrs lol. Next grow i will do more Aroma was great smell taset and high. Though it gave me a 5 hr raging hardon... but wife likes that haha. Silver haze was ok, ran in to some trouble with temp getting a bit colder in end stage of flowering (started July 20- mid to end november in garage in minnesota)

Box 2 has 3 seeds from a indoor mix from Ch9
Box 1 has :Special Kush in far left, Fab13 on right and a indoor mix in the front. Hope the Fab13 sprouts soon.

Tomorrow i will be raising the pots within 2 inch of lights and seedlings to keep streaching down, pics taken right befor i watered so they look a litle dry in middle. Middle part is where i piled up a seed starter mix and added soil around it. All seeds but the 1 sprouted in 2-3 days so far.

Need to get a fan for box 2 still but its cool in basement so heat dont build up to much... i vent the boxes 3 times a day for fresh air water once a day with a mister for another few days then to a 2-3day watering.

Any questions or advice would be great.

update on plants 2weeks 2 days old.... with some cilantro, basil, oregeno, and 2 others for wife haha.

one question i may have overlooked .... my cfls hand down as in picture ....
I herd that most of the light given off from cfls come from the sides... am i loosing to much light having it set up like this or will the reflecting off the sides of box make up for it..
Was thinking of getting a few Y sockets and aranging the lights to be horizontal vrs vertical. Then leave the one 3500k light vertical.

Anythoughts or pointers would be great..

Should be good long as you keep em close and the reflection material will help ... Wouldn't hurt to put side lighting once they get bigger though
