New room setup

Hi all! I'm new to this whole thing and by new I mean I'm on my 3rd grow ever. I grow for my fiancé who is a medical marijuana patient here in Maine.
I want to become a licensed caregiver and provide for others.
I'm wanting to set up a new grow space for flowering. I'm thinking of a 8x5 rectangular room. I was thinking of using 2 600 watt lights but I was wondering if it would be enough light for the space. Any thoughts?

HPS lighting should be around 50 watts per square foot of canopy area. 40 for the low end and 60 for high end (CO2).

either run 3 600s or 2 1000's in that space but since your a newer grower let me ask what light setup are you using now?

So you got experience with a 1k, id just stick with 1ks since you know how much heat and how to grow with them already. 2 1ks will be 50watts per square foot, be perfect for size of room you want.

Do you think I would notice much of a difference doing 45 per square foot compared to 50 psf?
If were talking 3 600s or 2 1ks go with the 1ks. It takes 4 600s to basicly equal 2 1ks. 600s produce nice bud just not as thick or big as 1ks. Got a few buddies that run 600 rooms that ive given clones to and they never get close to the 1ks bag appeal.
