I recently purchased a home and and currently setting up my new room. 8-12k. I'm used to living with the smell for the last few weeks of flower. But my wife and kids are not. So im attempting to eliminate the isissue. Im Using 6 mil plastice sheating and 2x4 framing with spraycan adhesive. only using a few feet of velcro for entrance in bottom corner. Also put a filter and fan between the room and living space to create a negative pressure. I removed ducting in room. I use ona when needed.

What else can I do?

I was thinking of buying 12 inch filter and fan. 1700 cfm or so. I currently use (4) 6 inch scrubbers.

What about ozone generator in living room?

My concern is mostly when we have company. Which is when ill put ona in the filters. But can't do that everyday.

The smell of full flower is hard to cover. Anyone got a tip? Did I miss anything LOL

Hide the smell with hippie shit, lots of incense and patchouli and sage. Just kidding :)

You just gotta use as much carbon filtration as needed. Is youre room sealed or vented? Smell is easier to filter and move away in vented rooms if youre pulling air from where you dont want smell and exhausting it through a filter outside but that can leave a faint smell outside right at the end.

Ona buckets work wonders, I frequently smoke in the same room as mine when my wife isn't home (big NO NO) and she has no idea. But don't waste the money on the premade ones, you can build your own for around 40 bucks including the ONA. I don't how it'll stack up in terms of a large grow, I only have a 3x3 SOG going, but I can say from my experience, they're pretty fly.

personally a grow that big. i would want only family coming thru. if that . stealth is the key to not being found. and with a 12k set -up.?? having people over . quite a bit. ?? would be a big no no im my book ,move the grow away from where you entertain , imo keep it 100

but seriously do the hippie shit . its cost effective .and seem like you got most of it covered already.. a grow that size is in a basement or garage.. hopefully not in your living space.?? or next bobby or cindys room. them fume from adhesives and shit leach out toxin, not conducive to family or pets let alone your girls

I've never seen any of your threads, I will check out your journal later.. I got a friend who flowers with T5's his product is very good but a bit airy.. What are you attributing the " no smell" garden to? More sulphur? I assume its less stinky strains.

Tis a combination of things and I have grown "stinky" strains they simply don't stink while growin

Your gonna hear a 12 inch running inside a house even if it's acoustic but if you filter is premium quality you should get no smell to where it's being extracted to I would send it into the loft and you should be sweet just the noise to deal with then
