New Project Struggling - Should I restart?

Hi there!

Thank you for reading this. I just finished my summer grow and am moving on to starting a new project. I had some issues with Mites in my grow space towards the end of the summer run but once I chopped the infected plant down I thoroughly cleaned the area the did everything short of fogging the house.

Some of the new girls (week 3ish) have started to show the dreaded white specs and seem to turning a light green color. Something definitely is up when you compare one of the ones I think is doing well.
(the one doing well)

With the ones in question.

Here is a close up of the white specs I'm worried about

Overall my main question is should I just can the two that aren't doing well and pop more seeds? or do you think these girls are savable? I'm just starting the project now so I don't mind starting over, I just don't want to end up heartbroken if they start to die later on lol or even worse, have these spread to the plants that are doing really well.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts! any advice is much appreciated!

feed it

develop a IPM and stick too it. Nothing easier than getting rid of spider mites on a plant with four leaves.

Lame. I've had struggles with bugs/mites/thrips before. Sounds likes you killed the ones in the space but what about the medium? Is it the same medium that struggled before? Did you hear in the oven on low for a couple hours or anything to kill possible bugs or anything? Did you use the same pots? Did you clean them?
Also what is your space? Looks like a tent, but if it's something else does it have wood?

As for starting over, I probably wouldn't unless it got a bit worse. Should be able to treat the infestation and she'll bounce back. At very least if you did pop new seeds make sure you serialize everything single thing. I even bake new soil mix so I don't introduce something to the grow.

Im using Michigan M3 Mix soil, so I wasn't thinking I should feed it, but I did get it very moist before planting so maybe it just got the soil too wet and some of the nutes ran through, so that would make since if its nutrient-deficient a bit right?

The sider mites I pray to god I have under control. I'm using a tent so I sprayed the hell out of everything with some Smite then washed everything with soap and water, and hosed it the fuck down.

Tent and Brand new medium, but I had planted these guys looking to get a headstart (and I had space) so there was a week or so overlap where they were in the tent, which is why I'm so worried lol and somewhat willing to restart and chalk it up to a learning experience.

As for the space and mites, I am in a basement where there is a decent amount of exposed wood, I did buy a doktor dooms fogger I was planning on using if things got too bad and that would cover the full basement, but the infestation wasn't that horrible to begin with, was just a few branches on some of the outdoor girls I was brought inside in fear of frosty mornings and I believe I took care if it before it got bad. Overall just playing the waiting game inspecting and cleaning all the leaves the best I can.

Looks like a calmag issue, I think magnesium.
yeah, that's what I'm thinking as well because I've done a pretty good job IMO of inspecting the leaves for mites/washing them with a 10:1 water/ISO using Q-tips.

I think my best bet would be to buy some Cali Magic and see if that does the trick, both girls are about a week post topping and the new sprouts are looking pretty good so hopefully with some nutes everything will flourish.

Thank you again everyone and please let me know if you have any other thoughts!

You need to get some microbes int here working for you to break all that down so its available to the plant ......in the mean time while your waiting for the microbes to do their thing , feed it a veg nute

Yes indeed, make some LAB foliar spray, look it up, it’s KNF practice. But it will bring beneficial Bacillus Bacteria to help decompose and bring nutrients to your plants roots. Also Kelp and seaweed has bacteria that works with roots and encourages fungi growth, Compost is best for microbe production, fertilizer is more for the plant itself.
