Get urself a couple 42 W cfls. One 2700k and one 6500k. If you don't know what those numbers mean just punch them into Google and learn about color temp and lumens for a bit.
Thanks for the tips. I read that i should use two 42w cfls but i didnt know which ones when I was looking on walmarts website

I started on my journey after the 23yrs kid I bought my weed off of was shot in the head over a 1/2 oz. I ordered seeds, bought a tent kit, some crappy potting soil and threw it all together. Then I researched and found how badly I screwed up.
Read and experience. No way around it.
Well i don think i have "screwed up" so what you posted in my thread is irrelevant

This is the same reason your last thread was deleted you ask for help but dont wantvto hear it. You have to read. First off perlite isnt a nutrient. You add perlite when mixing soil not for nutrients but for aeration.Maybe if you stopped your attitude you would get some real hhelp.
I don't have an attitude im not going to let anyone talk to me however they want just because im new to this. Post in my thread if you want to help. Not lecture me. You act like i havent done any research..doesnt mean i fully understand even after reserarching

Hey in case you haven't seen this, here's a leaf diagnosis pic, and a chart that shows pH range for nutrient uptake. Learning to read the leaves is important, as is having right pH range when watering. I spent prolly an hour a night reading everything on growweedessy and rereading it, then I came here for specific questions. I dropped my first seeds just over a year ago, still a noob, but I've learned a lot. Don't get pissed, it's a craft, a hobby, a science, freakin horticulture. Lots to it but it's gets easier. It used to take me 2 1/2 hours to mix and water, takes 45 minutes now. good luck!

So my last thread about my cotyledons being slight purple was deleted for some reason but this thread is only going to be about progess. Got new pics as well so hopefully from here on out everything shall go well. Its still in its seedling stage (i believe its called) so still a long way to go. Or vegetative whichever one haha
theres a reason your threads keep getting deleted its your attitude. stop with the name calling, youre defensive all youre doing is starting arguments, drop the pride and youll learn much better.

Anyways everyone drop the whole thing jeez. I bought a meter that measures fertility, light, moisture, and pH. But everytime i measure fertility it says its low. Im using good soil that has fertilizers in it im pretty sure but idk what to do. The plant hasnt been in that soil for very long since i just repotted maybe a little less than a week ago. Any suggestions?

Those combo meters are garbage, sorry. There's a good pH meter off Amazon for under $20, I can't do a link right now but search for pH meter on Amazon, it'll pop up, lots of reviews

Ok cool. Well the pH meter doesn't seem to be that bad. It said 7 at first but now its more like 6.7 or 6.8

It's from the watering section of the beginners guide on growweedessy, she explains it pretty well. Basically the root zone (soil) in you case has to be within a certain range for the plant to be able to take up nutrients shown. tgats where knowing the medium helps. I use sunshine mix and water at 6.2pH every from seed to finish, no issues in four grows

And the medium is what its growing in correct
Yes, there's soil based, the stuff you can buy at home Depot, and soilless which can be peat moss, coco coir (coconut hairs), or a combination of both. Soilless is preferred as it is much more pH neutral (with the green range on chart), you just have to keep it there by watering at the right pH every time

MJ can get going pretty well in commercial potting soil, but the pH is easily thrown out of range unfortunately. The leaf diagram is all about nutrient excess or deficiency, both can be caused by over or under feeding, or nutrient lockout due to root zone PH out of range
