New plants, First grow attempt.

For now, I've got them outside. I just got these plants last night, the person had them outside on a regular day sun schedule. I was wondering if bringing them in and putting them on an 18/6 cycle with 150-200 watts of cfls would damage the plants.

I was also wondering if you guys would be able to tell how old they are.
I feel the one plant is a female plant, but as I have said, its my first growth, so Im not positive.

Think you guys can help?

Plant in pic 4 is already flowering. it is a female but it's too small. I hope you didn't pay for em.

No, I.got them for free, if I brought them in, and tried putting them on 18/6 cycle would it harm them? Would they start to veg again? Or keep flowering?

Should be okay to switch back, i haven't done it before but the others don't look like they're even preflowering so they'd be fine once you get em on veg time. The flowering one should be fine as well but it'll take a little while longer. Might want to get em out of that weedy soil.

Yes, I plan on bringing them inside today once I get a chance to go to the store and buy some bulbs.

Are you able to tell what the other plant is? male/female? or is it to soon or bad pic? I have a feeling it looks male.

There are way too many weeds in your soil. Is that a full blown plant in pic 3?

You need them in their own seperate pots in soil that doesn't have any weed seeds in em.

Look into preflower sexing. I can't see any preflowers on the other plant but
the female has full blown flowers.

I was thinking it was some kind of Herb for spicing food. looks like basil :) lol. I just got the plants last night I have every intention of replanting them into their own pots in miracle grow, since I have a bag here that my mother kept from her planting and bringing them inside to veg them until they are 24" or a little bit more. then flower them.

Also bigbull get them in their own 3 gallon pots...you dont want the roots to get entangled and they need sufficient room to grow

im just looking for soil to work this time. As the plants are already growing and will be changing light, i dont want to make to many major changes and shock the plant to death.

and I dont know how to make a mixture.

You say you wouldnt "Recommend" MG, but will it work? is there something better I can get by going to my LOCAL walmart or home depot? not ordering offline from that site you keep mentioning...

Nothin to order its a sample but thats cool do what you do...as for soil go to home depot and get organic soil w/o time released nutes its hard to tell what your getting and how much its easier to just add your own...JMO (just my opinion)

Only problem with that, is I then have to purchase the nutes... I'm extremely broke.... Just got home from college and I'm looking for job so I can do more next time :)

Well if your broke why not get the free sample?? Lol its better than nothin bro...you'll get a much better plant this way MG is just highly unrecommended for this specific plant...but like i said whatever works for ya bro, just don't expect alot from her

Black gold i hear is good you should be able to get it at home depot they have another organic brand but cant remember the name...i know stoners right lol, shipping takes 3 days max
