Ive used it and it does work. It makes the bud heavier.Probably makes it dry slower too. But it does make it heavier . I used 1 tablespoon in 4 litres of water. Just gotta watch for bugs after. If its for personal use then I probably wouldn't use it. Maybe to add some weight for sale but thats about it.

I was thinking of using it for the first few weeks of flowering and then doing a total flush the last 2 to 3 weeks. Think they would be fine for smoking? Most of the reading I've done about it says it one of the best organic methods for helping healthy plant growth without getting any of the bad nute build up that can taint the taste of the smoke.

Your can't taste in the bud, the plant takes up the sugars that are made available to it. Here is a link that will give you some facts to deal with, I can't believe some of the stuff that gets circulated, passed on and believed.

Hope this helps 420, you need the facts to deal with and if you would like other links on its uses in plants and its effects please let me know.

Hey Veggiegardener, I haven't gotten my beauties this big to have someone try and tell me I'm doing anything wrong so unless you have something helpful to say with a little something backing it up, shut the fuck up.
My post was intended to express an apparently unpopular opinion. Your plants are doing fine. I just wanted to make clear that negative results can occur if a certain regimen isn't adhered to.

I've yet to see a good side-by-side test done.

Hope everything turns out OK.

Thanks and hopefully I'll have some good results to show you. The stems are bright purple and the nights here get a bite to them so I might have some fantastic colors before harvest.

Measure the center blade?

My biggest ever sun leaf came from a Durban Poison with extreme hybrid vigor. 11 7/8 inches from the center of the "eye, to the tip. I've seen pictures of much larger.

I wasn't trying to make it a competition. That's to easy to do over the internet, anybody can steal someone elses pics or just direct you to shit that's not theirs either. My hand is 8 inches and the leaf is easily 4 inches past my hand, that's makes 12 and there's my pic to prove it.

Oh yeah, and that was when the plant was only 4ft tall. You can check my album and see I'm not lying.

Sorry...

I wasn't trying to compete. I just saw that your leaf might be bigger. I thought it would be cool to see if it was. There's a pic over at ICMag of a guy holding a sun leaf over his shoulder that appears to be at least 15". It doesn't look possible that it could be fake.

Ya because your obviously the authority on this right. I grew all the same strain last year and the 2 plants I grew with molasses had a thicker smoke and tasted sweeter that the others.

I know I can add alot of things all the way up until harvest but I plan on doing a total flush for the last 2 weeks anyway. I'm not going to chance anything being in the plant when I cut it. Not saying the molasses or any one thing could change the taste of the smoke but I'm not trying to find out. When I go to harvest I plan on flushing with water the last 2 weeks. For the last three days before I actually cut the plant I will stop all watering and put it in a dark room. Since most of the growth of resins happen in the dark, the plant will be at peak potency when chopped. By doing this your basically teasing it to death and it will put everything it has to resin production.
