New medical grow with feminized seeds.

So i got 10 feminized seeds coming and a mother grow tent. Im turning the mother grow tent into my main (only) growing room for medical purposes. I dont smoke much but i eat my bud. Im wondering how many of these plants can grow in it while im using my 400HPS/MH light. Also, i am going to get a carbon filter and im wondering if there are any alternatives to useing the $100 dollar fan. I forget the name of the fan but its what all the experts say to use. Im broke and looking for an alternative. Any suggestions welcomed

For fans, I use 4.5" 12v PC fans, with a shroud made of cardboard and duct tape. I use a 12v power inverter (which usually make about 15v), from like a battery charger or beard trimmer.

I get these parts for free because my friend has a pc store, but a store would probably sell you some dirt cheap.

They suck from the room, ...through my lamp hoods, ...and into the ceiling, through some homemade carbon filters. Im not sure how much these fans flow, but they work for me.

A small squirrel cage fan will move some SERIOUS air. Not sure how much the go for.
