Just got this in and thought I would share. I don't have my grow tent up yet but I hung it up just so you can get better pictures of it. It is a T3 2100. I plan to use it in a 2x4 grow tent.

Everything is well packed


Hanging hardware included and cleaning towel








I made some hanging cables

Reflectors are plastic and they just "twist" on and off. It would be nice if they were metal and had a shiny reflective material inside. These are just plain white plastic

I've actually heard that the white plastic is a very good reflective surface. I have used yogurt cups painted white before and they look pretty similar to yours.

there other types too, if you want to try the fly eyes or angled lens later.

looks like just what people want, no gimmicks just the basics

can you post a picture of the coverage on the ground if you get a chance.

I was told the fly eyes over time can effect light output. And the 90 degrees reduce the light area

its they dont twist, they screw in easy.

reflectors have all kinds of effects some you do loose some PAR, but enlarge coverage. or visa-versa smaller coverage with more focused light.

you use the rings on the ones you have, the ones I'm looking at are about 3 shorter.

I really like that light, how much was that one $350usdm?

Now you could get a sheet of 3000k high CRI remote phosphor. You can cut 6 disks out of it and attach them to the Angelinas, thereby boosting the lumen output. In your case, I guess you could put 2 layers on each one, until you buy 3 more COBS or something. There's still a lot of blue in the stock COBs that could be converted to white. I would also put some foil over the sides of the Angelinas. How to attach the disks? Some kind of heat resistant tape maybe, aluminum tape or something or some kind of clips. You'd have to use your imagination. You're the trail blazer. Who else has $137 laying around and some COBs with Angelinas on them? Yeah, I know you got that $150 for your birthday. It's all over town.

Typical efficiency on all the Angela and Angelina models is 93%. Just because the reflector is shiny doesn't mean it's reflecting more light. The white reflectors are 90 degree and will typically be the best option. There's no reason to change or modify the reflectors, they will work fine as is. If I thought I could produce a better product I would. :)
