For the first few weeks of veg I have been running 4 2700k and 4 5000k cfl bulbs. I added 2 24" 10000k and 2 24" Tru Blue Actinic 03 bulbs and in the last few days the plant has started to take off. I am more curious about what the Actinic bulbs are going to do.

10000k? are those bulbs like, extremely blue or something? ive never heard of 10000k.
10k they are extremely bright, but more common than you may think. No, we still perceive 10k as a white light, its just how humans eyes adjust to that, but it is in the blue range. Now the actinic is certainly a blue light the way we see it. But it does not make a difference one way or another how humans see the light, its the spectrum and how the plant sees it. The most important thing to understand is that the way humans sees and uses light is totally different than the way the plants see and use it. Just keep in mind 10000 lumens that are within the green spectrum is pretty much useless to a plant and could be very dim, but 10000k in the blue range is very "bright" for a plant

those 10000k lights i think he means, where did you get those?
The 10k lights are the 24 inch tubes. The entire strip light is for aquariums, it is a Coralife Aqualight. They sell a fresh and salt water model. Look around online at aquarium shops, they have them.
