New Legal Grower..help!

So I have my legal license for growing in RI. I have setup an 8x4 grow room. We are splitting it to be 2 4x4 rooms. One room is gonna be a veg room with 5000K T8 4ft Natural sunlight flourescents, and the other side I want to throw in a 600w setup. This is just for now. Eventually when I can afford it, I want to have the two 4x4 rooms to each have 600w lights, and then a seperate veg room. I have a buddy thats helping me out, but im not a Dr. Greenthumb. So, help me out, am I doing this right? I have a limit of 12 plants. Iwant to have the right cycle going so I can produce as much as possible. Where is the best place to get a whole 600w setup..including the hood, bulbs, inline fan and whatnot. he directed me to HTGSupply.com, but I wanna try and buy cheaper. Also, whats the best way to grow, cycle, veg, everything...im very new at this. I got a medical card cuz I broke my neck...so help me out. Give opinions, solutions, nutrient needs..the works. Anyone to help?

Brah There are a bunch of F.A.Q., guides, do it yourselfs stickeyd on top of the forums I suggest you read through them all haha use the search tool above and look for white widow or something like that guide on growing marijuana. Ther youll find everything you need to know to get started,

k...so im pretty straight with the growing...1 question tho...when do I move the plant from the veg room to the grow room? when seeds say like 9weeks...is that from vegging...or does it start when I put them in the grow room? and can anyone point me to a cheap place to buy a 600w ballast, hood, light, 6" inline fan etc. setup? please let me know the cheapest place to but my light setup? or anyone selling anything???? help out the broken neck newbie :) govt checks suck!!!

9 weeks would be the flowering time I think, depends on what it is you're looking at. Cheapest place for lights is ebay. But typically you wont find a supplier with cheaper prices than HTG, their on ebay as well...Though its not impossible. I've seen some...The fan you'll probably have to buy seperate unless you buy a used set up someone is getting rid of. And of course you'll need ducting as well to vent the heat from the light...Assuming of course the fan you're referring too is for an air cooled light...That is what you meant right?

yep...i got everything i need to start off...im just straight buyin from HTG...except the 6" inline fan...I found one for $182 at a shop....im got clones to start vegging. so when do switch from the veg room to the grow room? when white hairs start showin? then its 9weeks from there?

You can let it veg for however long you would like but remember when you switch your lights to 12/12 your plants are gonna atlast double or in some cases triple in size. :blsmoke:
