I'm just pissed because someone seems to want deprive me of my right to freedom of speech. And then act like he did nothing wrong.

I appreciate all your posts spuzz. Thank you for challenging max's intentions and project. The fact that he refuses to answer the most simple questions and dances around pressing issues speaks loudly. Spuzz has been the greatest contributer of actual led info in this thread. Props to you spuzz.

You can see from my Icon saying I am a stranger that I signed up recently and that is correct. I would have to agree with Spuzz that now even you PetFlora seem to be in on this scam in the making. Spuzz is right you are defending a scammer. So if it was accidental he gave you an out as he said. He never asked you any of those questions and even if he keeps asking he is doing a service. See by asking that which any legitimate businessman would answer and not getting an answer. It is clear he is a scammer. So Spuzz is in fact performing a public service. Seems you want the opposite and that my friend makes you seem an awful lot like you have something to gain from Spuzz's silence.

Max did say at one point that he was going to follow some of the Philips tech'.. maybe he meant something like this.. http://www.growlightsuk.com/led-grow-lights/strings.html . This would deal with penetration issues I presume. Also while I'm at it, (as obviously Max isn't going to post any more info' in this thread) why are there no grows on here using the Philips grow lights ?.

Yes, you have the right to be annoying. And I have the right to point it out. Clearly, being annoying doesn't phase you in the least: your excuse is that you are an old man. As I pointed out I am old, and probably older, but I don't keep trying to teach a pig to sing (not that I am calling maxp a pig) . As I said way back when, there will be time enough to eat his lunch.

Demanding?? I asked questions like everyone else asks questions. I spotted a scammer right from the start, and by "your" reasoning, I should'a kept my mouth shut, and just let "it play out". I am amused by the fact that I am being accused of being a spammer (I ain't even got a company yet) and also by the fact that Spuzz is making a home made LED that will do no better than any other LED on the market because just as someone pointed out that maybe I know something that he doesn't know ! ( Have a look at this thread ( https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/474084-ultimate-led-test-glh-spectra.html ) and you'll see that an led costing $549 does no worse than another costing $1500. Now in defence of PETFLORA I will tell you all that he refused to do a grow with my design as he is on a very different route so Kudos to him for the honesty.

Max, it isn't that I refused, I just think you should let someone using current LED tech that closely compares watt wise to your light for a straight up A/B. That's what people can relate to.

I am using HO T5s with aquarium bulbs (available in LED like spectrums) in my main rig. The 8 bulb fixture is 2 x 4, and I don't currently have an additional tent. I still use my UFO 90 for clones/seedlings, but supplemented with daylight cfls in a small closet.

Spuzzum would probably be a good tester, in that he seems well versed in the latest led tech. Keep in mind, your worst critic has the possibility to become your biggest ally. But I understand why you would be resistant to offer it to him.

There is at least one guy here who has tested a bunch of LEDs. He is a highly experienced grower, and fair minded. Sorry, I can't think of his name. will look for it and edit.

Sorry I didn't mean to sound unkind, to be fair I would like to have someone do an unbiased test with lots of grow experience under their belt. However I will test it first myself but I don't see much point in putting my own results on here as it will only be for my own peace of mind to know that it will work as planned. Peace all

Ok I'll do that as soon as I get through all the red tape for importing and exporting licences, but like I said before, if it does work really well, I won't expect anyone to believe me after all the bs over the last few years. I thought the idea that was put forward by Petflora about letting Spuzz do my test was actually quite good, but if it worked well can u imagine ! If you want to be fair Spuzz would be your best choice, but I know if I were him I wouldn't do it. So you next best option is to find a grower that is on the new side. I say this since that would truly show that your light is the best. Any grower with lots of experience could possibly compensate for the lights downfalls. If there are any. If you get awesome results with a newer grower then that is more credible then some guy who grows for a living. On another forum there is an experienced grower that gets or claims to get amazing results with the original Magnum. I and many others are not having the same results. So if your goal is to truly show you have an amazing light. Find a led forum where the person is getting fair results and see if they will test you light. Some people are going to get a GPW or more if they grow with candles. I think what people want to see is average joe getting awesome results and not Mr. Pro!!! This doesn't mean find Mr. Pro and make him look like average joe.

You make some very valid points, I just don't want someone to neglect simple things like Ph for instance, I've seen grows on here with really bad results because of such instances where they forgot to calibrate their PH meter, unbelievable but it happens. A simple grow of say, four indicas, 3 gallon pots scrogg grown in coco ph 5.8-5.6 with a choice of proven nutes like GH or something similar. Standard stuff, or go Organic, nothing complex just in a 3ft x 3ft grow tent

so i think i already stated that i would be more then willing to help out and do a test. i was thinking about getting a tent anyways. the only question i have to ask is what would the coasts be? i have a 400w hps running atm. i could always start two clones and see which does beter. the 400w hps or the led. let me know cause im more then interested.
