New LED Fixture Grow Journal

Been a lurker on here but always like learning from others. Grown for 15 years with 6 years indoor growing. Not a firm believer in LED's but a buddy invested in getting fixtures made and he wanted me to give them a shot. Kicker here is I get to keep them if I can get 3 oz's of solid medication along with a journale. I have to post within 3 days with pictures from the last post :D Oh location is norcal in the emerald.

"Got 2 Grow" Veg fixture: 90 watt 45 x 2 watt led with 2:1:1

"GOT 2 GROW" Bloom fixture (which I never received yet, Guess he's making a video of it)

300 watt 114 x 3 watt LED, penta wavelength, with 90 degree lens for penatration

CO2 ran 18/6 with veg light running 18/6 at 1200 PPM

Going to try to run as cheap as I can on nutrients since people can spend BANK! I'll go cheap unless I feel I need to use something expensive.

Veg fed:

inoculents: greengro myco
House and gardens: Roots accelrator
Superthrive
Cutting edge: Micro, bloom and grow

Tent 2x4
"GOT 2 GROW" LED Lights: VEG 90 watt LED, Bloom 300 watt LED
Strain: Blue Dream
Pots: 2 gallon smart pots
Circulations: 1 fan but will add a carbon scrubber when it starts smelling.

Plants been vegging for a week. Will veg for another week to week and a half.

Will scrog tomorrow with chicken wire. If you have any comments feel free. Always learning!

Oh the temp readings were to show with the tent shut it was at 75.2 with it opened it dropped to 72.9. Also hand watered based on needs of the plants

I was asked to do video's from my buddy and got to use his camera. Makes it easier for me and it gets other growers a feel for the journal.

Admin: I told him that this is kind of pushing the limits. If you feel putting videos is violating forum rules please let me know. At the sametime I feel its a legit journal putting the fixtures to the test. Again, if there is any wrong doing please let me know and I will take down the clip and post pictures.

Just did a video yesterday and was too lazy to upload it. Everything been looking good, just waiting for the plants to fill in before flipping. I added some seedlings to the tent since there was room and was impressed with the growth rate to say the least with the unit. So far its doing its job. I'm gonna update probably monday and show the amount of watts used by the unit since I found the kill-a-watt device. Enjoy

This thread is relevant to my interests so i'll watch closley if you don't mind. I may be able to get my hands on an LED streetlight so i'll see how you get on growing with them before i accquire it.

Are you having any issues with the heat on the back of the LED board?

There has been no temperature issues at all. Thanks for following, looking forward to seeing what these led lights bring to the table.

Thank for the link. Interesting setup, I hope he/she does well and I hope they got a discount for that many LED fixtures. Again this is an experiment for me cause I'm a tried and true HPS grower. I always see people say great results but don't really back it up (meaning they say they got this so called weight in writing or verbally, but not showing the true weight on a scale). So since I my buddy decided to jump in the game and I was asked to test them why not?

That magnum is close to the 400 watt fixture that I'm testing. With the blue dream its a 8-9 week strain so its gonna be interesting. Anyways thanks for the link.
