I've always found the endorsement from a person whose major accreditation is winning awards for excelling in lying to the public for entertainment as an occupation the epitome of trustworthiness. /S

uh-huh.

How does it feel to support somebody Oprah can outperform?
Who said i support him.... I'm an independant I do not roll with the RNC or the DNC they are both bat shit crazy... I just think at the present moment the DNC is just more stupid.... They need a message badly and Oprah for president just is not it..

the ellipses are a dead giveaway that you love trump, as was your histrionic meltdown in the "can we afford whites?" thread.

its naive to say that republicans and democrats are anything alike
I would not go that far. They're alike enough to say it without being naive but to say that they are exactly the same would make someone dumber than average for sure.

I mean, Obama was one of the best presidents in history and he was to the right of Nixon. His whole state's rights approach to the drug war was a brilliant strategy but he was basically using GOP rhetoric against the GOP.

I get what you're saying and I agree with the other way you've stated this but there are similarities and some of them can even be used for progress.

I'm not talking about comparing today vs Nixon's era. In Nixon's day, there were Democrats as different as McGovern and Wallace. Not any more. Comparing today's Republican leadership (e.g. Trump, Ryan, Koch Brothers) with Democratic leadership (e.g. Obama, Pelosi, Soros) it would be hard to say they are alike. One would have to be unaware or naive to say they are the same.

I suppose it does depend on one's perspective.
