When can I get medical marijuana?
This is our current understanding of the timeline for patient ID cards and the formation of Alternative Treatment Centers (ATCs):
CUMMA passed into law 1/18/10. Usually reliable State House sources say regs will be out in 3 mos. (April) and the program running in 6 (July). No real info before that.
So the earliest possible time to be able to go to an ATC is July. However, if the ATCs have to start growing marijuana on that date, it may be another three months or so before the medicine is ready.

im now glad jersey can be known for something else other then car theft, and crack salez.....lol yall new jersians shouldnt take this too seriously..... after all I AM FROM CHICAGO HAHAHA

I grew up in Jersey and I can tell you it gets a bad rap. Once you get away from the industrialized northeast Jersey is a beautiful and interesting place. The Garden State? Best damn tomatoes and corn I've ever had (I KNOW the next big ag product will be exceptional too). The Jersey Shore, Pine Barrens, blueclaw crabs, etc. And the pizza rocks like Bruce Springsteen! I'll bet my old stoner friends are dancing a polka right now. They couldn't believe I grow legally in Cali and thought it would never happen there.

Congrats!! North Carolina will be voting on it in 4 months. I'm sure there are other states with pending legislation too. I just wish someone in my state would have the balls to introduce it.

Cool!! Are you growing legally because you've got a license to grow or a licensed dispensary?

I realize there's a height and plant limit when you're legal to grow but how will the state (Cali) honestly know if you're growing six plants or a hundred ? Is there like a surprise visit or something? Still, must be sweet!

Just an MMJ recommendation. There is no height limit, just number of plants and total square feet of canopy (100 sq feet per rec). The police came to my grow once and didn't say anything about our 1500 sq ft with only four
recommendations.
