So here's the new closet setup, transplanted to 5 gals yesterday, well all that i had enough soil for, and yes separating the two plants from the same pot was a @#$%&!! :wall: (any tips about post transplanting care? I added root stimi's again..)

oh and the light is now 2 feet from plants, and i have higher humidity and lower temps now :weed: not to far is it?

so i didn't really know much about topping untill a friend of mine told me i should have done it already.. he said to cut 80% off of the newest growth, is that right? I'm going to wait a week or so untill the plants have recovered from the transplant before doing this. Did i really wait to long? :wall:

i'm going to start using cal mag with my botanicare Pure Blend Pro veg nutes, is there anything else essiential they need? trying to get rid of the sometimes saggy leaves and discoloration :leaf:

Looking very good. I think you are at a good time to top/FIM - I try for 3-4 days before I go into flower.

I would consider Botanicare's Liquid Karma pretty important. I'd also add some Botanicare's Sweet or just molasses if money is tight during flower.

And what size lamp is that?

EDIT: Also, if you are using tap water I would skip the Cal-Mag.

yeah i'm gonna wait to fim them, about a week, do i only want to do it once?

light is 400w MH, is 2 feet ok distance to plants?

i haven't got any flowering nutes, so i'm undecided, won't have the HPS for a few weeks either..

i am using tap water, cal mag isn't nessary with tap?

The lights are mostly a heat thing. 2' away is good, hard to maintain though in the small rooms.

I'm almost 100% certain tap has enough of both, I suppose it really depends on the ppms in your tap, maybe you have excellent water with very low salts. have you checked? Are you on city water?

And you can FIM more than once. People do it, I don't know all the advantages and disadvantages - I've never done it more than once.

k im going to tell you the best easiest possable way to fim with great results.

where the new growth is coming from, at the top, spread the tiny leaves, there will be more tinier leaves in them, seperate those and pluck the tiniest little new growth right where the leaves meat the verry tip top of the main stem. waiting a week sounds great, they should be out of shock and ready by then.

and 2 feet is perfect for plants, it gives over 12,000 lumens at that hight, 10,000 is your goal, and its 10,000 at 2.25 feet.

but yea its a heat thing, if you got it air cooled you could get that thing within 10 inches of your babys and they would fuckin grow like... well like weeds... hehe

well i fimmed the one that hasn't been transplanted, least i think i did, hee hee

getting the HPS as soon as tax $$ rolls in, so few weeks till flowering, can't wait!!

just out of curiosity, and i'm sure it's an annoying q, but..
how much can a noob expect to harvest from a single plant like these, ballpark dry? 4 are reg bagseeds and 5 are various dank seeds

You get that 400w rolling and you catch a few breaks, I'll say you could see in the area of 6, 7, or 8 ozs. Plant numbers aren't really important, it kinda washes out in the end and yield is more dependent on your light wattage.
