Hi Guys!! So i started my first grow this past week. Im working with a closet thats 2'x7.5'x8' tall. Im using a bran new 400w MH/HPS light now with the basic metal reflector i have 2 fans exhausting out of the room and one bringing air in. Along with a 4th that is takin the air being pulled in and blowing it across the hole room. Im runnin temps that are somewhere in the 80's during the off peroid and a steady 89/90 degrees when the light is on. The light is about 4 feet maybe a little more from the tops of the pots. I got some BC mango and started 13 seeds from germination and putem right into the 2gal pots under the lights. ive got the walls lined with the reflective blankets. It gets very very bright lol. i planted the germinated seeds when they had about 1/4 inch root started, i have 2 that have poked through the top already and seem to be havin fun under the sun. Im currently running an 18/6 cycle and will be using foxfarm nuts. Forgot to mention im using Promix Pro for soilless medium.

This is my first grow so i have been doing as much reading and studying as i can. I kno that i wont get the yeild that i want out of my first grow but really im just hopin that 50% will turn out felmale. Its really just a fun projecet to give me something to do hehe :) Im hopin to find a nice mother and clone her would be my next step. Im lookin for any advice or opinions from people out their? Anyone have experience with the BC Mango? Ill be happy to answer questions and get as much feed back as i can will also post pictures in the future.

Thanks Guys and Gals!

it sounds like you know what your doing, just keep the temp under 90, you dont wanna have the risk of nute burn, keep it around 78-86 degrees

my humidity is runnin between 40 and 50%, im guessin imgonna need to water a little every day to keep my medium moist. I am having troubles with heat, i just checked and its 94atm afte the lights being on for 4 hours, think i need another fan bringing in air that will put me at 5 fans runnin full time seems a little much but im tight on cash and cant drop 70bucks on a hugh fan any ideas? i germinated 2 seeds before the rest and they seem to be doing great popped out of the ground on the 2nd day. The rest are still under and takin their time. Im hoping the heat doesnt affect the youngins

o btw i use an intake right from outside so my temp is based on outside temps . I wonderin if moving my exhaust fans closer to the light will help with the heat its an open metal reflector. I run my lights at night to try and keep it cooler
